Strychnine.213 often finds itself swallowing carnage and dishing out as much pain as it can, given Aborted's 'limitations' on this album. If one were to compare the release to the rest of this deathgrind establishment's material, then Strychnine.213 doesn't serve a true purpose at all; on its own, however, this CD is damn gnarly!

A weird one from the Belgians. It has moments of thhe brilliant brutal Deathgrind they are best known for, but then they try combining it with a melodeath like stylee. That does not fit in very well, and therefore sounds a bit weird most times. The hardcore vocals don't sound totally developed either.

Its almost as if Aborted went Slipknot at times. Not a bad take...maybe a more poppish/melodic ressay. Its great on its own, not to be compared with other releases from them tbqh.
