LTE 2 is clearly a more refined version of LTE 1. It relies less on jams and improv, and seems to have more complete songs. Unfortunately, it taperes off a bit towards the end. It is however nevertheless fantastic, and just a bit better than LTE1.

Aboslute phenomenon to listen to. From the moment acid rain begins with power and complexity and even in the 17 minute when the water breaks which ranges from peaceful to intense and all around.
It is apparent of the members of dreams theaters talent at producing such a unique piece. A very fine work for progressive metal.

LTE 2 is a fantastic album with mind blowing musicianship and great songs to boot. The only thing that stops it from getting a 5 is that some of the songs are too long for their own good. Also, a few of them are boring compared to the best songs.
