Anthrax are awesome, honestly Ian can bring the riffs harder than any mother***er. The title track comes in and slams you in the chode harder than 9000. Belladonna is the man, Bush could sing but he was no Belladonna, the vocals are brought hard right here. The classic track off here is hands down 'Caught in a Mosh'; the riff kicks in and punches you with the full force of Arnold Schwarzenegger's arm on unlimited steroids. The whole album carries on in the same vein; pummeling and violating, get the tissues at the ready. 'Indains' flies in with the heart of a lion and the legs of a wilder beast; fast and wise. The drums pummel away, fiddling with yours ears until you climax, take care of them now. There really isn't much more that can be said about this tease of a record, other than that it thrashes to infinity. Oh and yeah remember, I Am The Law bitchez.
When all is said and done this is the biggest 5 ever, it has riffs, vox and Schwarzenegger...go and get it friends.

In my opinion Among The Living is their best work and one of the best Thrash Metal records ever made. My favourite songs here are the title track, I Am the Law, Indians, Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.) and specially Caught in a Mosh. TM absolute classic

Anthrax's classic third album, in brief, rules face. Being the most underappreciated of the 'Big Four', Anthrax always had a certain quirkiness that was nowhere to be found in the archives of Metallica, Megadeth or Slayer. Among The Living is a true classic of thrash metal that will live forever in the hearts of true metalheads.

From the cool electric guitar intro on Among the Living to the blast beat at the end of Imitation of Life, this album is purely amazing. The solos on this album are great. My favorite tracks are Among the Living, Skeloton in the closet, and Indians. If you haven't picked up this album, pick it up.

Anthrax is, has been, and always will be underrated compared to the other bands in the 'big four'. While not musically superior to bands like Megadeth and Metallica (although in my opinion, Anthrax is better than megadeth), Anthrax was fast, heavy and absolutely the second best band of the big four. Anthrax demonstrates the true art of speed metal throughout every song, and this is the ultimate thrash album. Too bad these guys don't get more recognition, the quality of each song is outstanding.

A pure Thrash classic from the most under-appreciated of the Big Four. Anthrax's Among The Living stands proudly alongside the magna operae of Metallica's Master of Puppets, Megadeth's Rust In Peace and Slayer's Reign In Blood and deserves recognition as one of the greatest records in metal history, if not in the history of music in general. Recommended songs: Among The Living, Caught In a Mosh, I Am the Law and One World.

Anthrax was never the thrashiest thrash band. Their second album was more speed metal/ just plain metal with thrash
influences, their fourth was sorta metal with punk/hard rock mixed in, and their fifth was heavy metal with a bit of
thrash and punk thrown in. But this one, my friend, is pure thrash: and good thrash at that. This baby just begins to
drop in quality-and only slightly- near the very end. This album when listened to in full is excellent. I recommend all
aspiring thrash metal fans to at least try this album out.

This album features very original guitar riffs and singing, great drums and bass. Most metal albums turn the bass down, not this one. Take caught in a mosh for the best example. The arrangements are very interesting such as the solo for the track Indians. It features an Indian feel to complement the song. Also the acoustic intro on A.D.I was surprising and added cool element to a good song.

One of my favourite thrash albums. ATL is chock full of awesome thrash riffage, catchy songwriting and songs that are both quite heavy and accessible at the same time. There isn't really a weak song on the album either, probably the best thing I've heard from these guys so far.
