I've listened black atmospheric metal for a while, wanted a change of pace and found this
gem of an album. I'm not a big fan of heavy metal, but this is something different. Lunar
Shadow uses heavy metal as a base and fuses a bit of power, a bit of melodic and some
extreme metal (here and there) to make one fascinating album.
Now considering the fact that this is a debut album and the guys are very young...makes
this album stand out even more in my eyes.
If these guys continue to evolve...wow...fun times ahead!

Very well performed traditional metal with influences from Angel Witch due to atmosphere and other NWOBHM acts such as Iron Maiden and Saxon. The German outfit also uses some extreme metal elements but very sparingly. There is a strong epic flavor, while each song takes its time in order to fully develop. Two elements though that might alienate some listeners are the aforementioned song length and the singer's voice.

Very well done melodic trad metal. Each track is killer, definitely worth your time if your a fan of heavy metal. A must listen.
