Amazing album in the vein of Reroute-era In Flames, with more focus on melody and less on harsh vocals. Filler songs are kept to a minimum, a problem that seemed to plague the previous album, Redeemer. The guitars sound great, and the synth work is constantly adding to the mix without sounding cheesy. Highly recommend: Edge and Pearl, Violator, Conveyor

I was not expecting this to be good... considering alternative metal is one of the most watered-down subgenres ever. I am really glad that I gave this a shot though because it is a great addition to my library as most of the tracks are extremely compelling!
