Unique, beautiful, progressive, breathtaking, and unquestionably perfect. Atheist's sophomore album Unquestionable Presence is metal gold. The songs never drag and are always finding ways to keep a listener's most dedicated attention. Fans of death metal, progressive metal, thrash metal, jazz, and just music in general should check this out if they want a nice treat. If you're a metal-skeptic, this might just be the best album to change your perspective on the whole unclean vocal / crazy guitar thing.

The fantasy and imaginations simply flows in never-ending streams from this album. Unquestionable Presence is a waterfall of fantastic artistry, innovation and intelligence. Truly a timeless masterpiece with melodies and a lot of memorable moments that will hopefully live throughout ages.

One of the best death metal albums ever, a technical whirl wind of jazz influenced riffs with some great vocals and manic bass work and drumming that goes beyond just interesting, this is one of the finest albums you will ever lay ears on so make sure you go out and jam it hard now.

While one of the pioneering bands of their genre, I can't help but notice that Cynic and Death are far superior to Atheist. Atheist isn't bad by any means, but this album is highly overrated, the way the vocals flow is kind of what does it for me. I must say, this album is definitely growing on me.
