Better than Precambrian in my opinion. Might need to listen to Precambrian more to make sure but as of right now, Fluxion is better hands down. Fluxion is more progressive than Precambrian without sacrificing any of the heaviness. The Human Stain, Isla Del Sol, and The Greatest Bane are some of the heaviest, proggy songs the Ocean has ever made. Nazca and Fluxion are also great instrumentals, especially considering the Ocean hasn't made any good instrumentals since. All in all, I think this is the Ocean's best album.
Admittedly I'am a huge lover of the ocean (no it is not "gay"). And this album manages to channel that sound into a metal perspective perfectly, this gets a 5 from me easily.
