On the cover of this album, there appears to be a mass of cranes, scaffolding, and other metal apparatuses. Now imagine all of that piled on top of you, slowly, but surely crushing you. That's essentialy what listening to Wake/Lift feels like.

Great lyrics delivered powerfully, beautiful guitar & bass melodies, each instrument sits perfectly in the mix, Temet Nosce is one the most calming tracks I've ever heard, the atmosphere... I like this. A LOT.

"Lift" is largely uninteresting, but the rest of the album will take you on a journey through

Given how much praise I gave their debut, this one disappointed me a fair bit. Too much ambiance/random noise for my tastes, but when there's music, it's pretty great. A decent offering, but I still have faith their next will be better.

Not as heavy or crushing as The Galilean Satellites, but this release definitely holds up just as well. The album keeps with the spacey, post metal feel from the first album. However, theres more ambiance this time around. If you are tired of all Post Metal bands sounding the same then get this and give it a listen. You will not be disappointed.
