Wolfsbane is full of energetic heavy metal with elements of AOR (due to its lyrics), hard rock and punk. Essentially, it is a NWOBHM LP which was released a few years after the movement's golden days. Either way, it is an enjoyable listen but nothing really special even though Blaze Bayley's performance on here is solid.
