4.0 excellent | Jared Floryan | December 17th 15 | Singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Asher (aka BOOTS) crafts an overall solid debut record with a nice balance of bark and bite to keep the mongrels on their leashes satisfied. Titled Aquaria, Asher's first solo effort is fairly convincing in atmosphere and not too long at a total of 38 minutes. Though his abilities as a composer are the least remarkable aspect about the LP, the material presented certainly shows that Asher can indeed improved upon his songcraft skills. Aquaria is an attractive smorgasbord of industrial, R&B, pop, and rock. I'll look forward to more of what this guy has in store for us later down the road.

4.0 excellent | LotusFlower | November 14th 15 | Beyonce/FKA Twigs producer Boots steps out of the shadows with an explosive debut record that blends a varied range of influences and style in a unique industrial pop twist that entices and wows through it's run time. For those who love the grittier side of electronic, pop, or RnB than AQUARIA is a must.
