Jazzywonkhiphop is cool, yeah. Injury Reserve's debut mixtape is full of dope bleeps'n'bloops, but the rappin' and songwriting aren't refined enough: tracks meander for too long, and the tape as a whole sounds a tad unfocused.

This album contains the amazing songs like Yo, Wow, and Everybody Knows. However, I think the amount of effort put into all the songs here tends to fluctuate. The aforementioned songs have spectacular, detailed beats just like any other song on here, but on those songs, they also have cleverly-constructed verses and hooks. The last two tracks on here don't have that. Washed Up is the same way; nice beat, low-quality lyrics. Still, though, the whole album flows together sort of like one cohesive piece. It's worth coming back to.

Teeth the size of piano keys are enough to damage the insides belonging to Dracula, while ears fatter than a disco ball are sufficient when it all comes down to processing what Injury Reserve's 2015 debut mixtape has in store for its listeners. Live From the Dentist Office breathes life and exercises quality throughout a majority of its runtime, proving to be an overall strong record which definitely can't be judged by its admittedly awkward cover alone. Hailing from the state of Arizona, Tempe-based hip hop triad Injury Reserve display a smart, charming character to them which shows on their first official offering.
