Credited with being one of the forerunners of Heavy Metal, Machine Head is Deep Purple's best album, with every one of the seven tracks blowing the listener away. An indisputable classic.
My first Deep Purple album was Made In Japan which is a spectacular album and then I heard Machine Head which blew me away as well. do not get me wrong, Japan is more fun and its much much better but Machine head is a laidback and relaxing album while extremely heavy and bluesy all at the same time. A classic
"This is amazing classic rock and sadly was buried by all the other bands out at the time. This is still held as a classic though and shows great musicianship and some great rock songs. I recommend this to anyone into 70s rock and those who are Ritchie Blackmore fans. This isn’t absolutely life-changing but it still is a great record none the less."
