Think of everything that makes you embarrassed to be a black metal fan (or conversely, all the things that you think make black metal a complete joke). Whip them all together into a cliche flambe, and you end up with 'Black Metal ist Krieg'. Not content with simply being impossibly cliched and plagiarising riffs (badly) from many of the early 90s albums; Kanwulf has to add an extra layer of stupidity with his patented 'written by a retarded four year old' lyrical style. The fact that Kanwulf seems to be deadly serious about all this helps make it funny (and a trifle disturbing), but the fact that the album is so boring means that the joke doesn't sustain. Don't buy this. Not even on a dare.
