I should have known. Iggy's recent solo efforts were complete nightmares (And by recent, I mean since the mid 80s), and the other members have not been active much. What else could I expect. A declined Iggy, plus band members who haven't really played that much in 37 years, couldn't really add up to a good album. It is all how I planned unfortunately. Iggy's now trite and bad vocals and lyrics conquer the album, while the other members don't really know what to do. The record seemed rushed, even the lyrics. It sounds as if Iggy went online and picked blog names, and then wrote lyrics based on those articles. Then the other member choose to play the simplest power chords they could, and the drummer chose to play the simplest back beats known to mankind. This is the kind of record you shouldn't ever hear, much less buy.
Christ almighty. I wont even go in depth about this. The .5 is for their logic which isn't flawed. The world DOES need a new stooges album. The problem was that they didn't really give it to us. They pooped on a mixing board and gave it to us with some bad album art and a worse name.
