Fairly simple and straightforward music, but Equilibrium have released their funnest and happiest sounding ralbum. They've also upped their folk influences to the max, and make no mistake, the music is still epic/huge r(just in smaller doses). Uns'Rer Floten Klang is also one of the best things I've ever heard.

Equilibrium have not a shred of kvlt cred and their music is soaked in folk metal cliches like hurdy-gurdy and flute solos, but when it comes to consistently PRISTINE songwriting, hooks and melodies galore, all while being a ton of fun and quite frankly I could give a hoot less if they take themselves seriously, this album is a masterwork and "Uns'rer Floten Klang" is just...happiness in a tune.

still a pretty good lp but lost a lot of their power and epicness along the way, just what happens when youre whole lineup changes i guess. robse cool tho. best track is easily sound of our flutes. also was ist dies englisch?!?!?! that the epic 11 min instrum aufbruch is bonus is bullshit, but its not that good anyway

Adding clean vocals to their epic folk of epic black metal style was a good decision.

Why is folk metal always so fucking cheesy. The vocals are weak and so is most of the music. There are some decent folk-influenced melodies, but not enough to save the album. The second song starts with little tweeting birds... fuck.
