Godflesh's "Killing Joke (2001)", they assemble their different styles and influences (notably drum'n'bass, psychedelic and even some 90's alt rock") to craft an album that is still dark and bleak as well as massively entertaining and superbly solid. very high 4
Album is a grower, I wasn't nuts about it at first. Godflesh's traditional sludge indust over faster technoish beats. Even darker than Pure, and almost as good.
