Love it. Transitions feel almost aimless, but they really draw the listener in due to their surprising nature. The whole album has a sense of airiness and is really ventilated.. and a bit of it may drag, but the high points are definitely rewarding. Really hazy and drugged, but it feels so innocent. Drawing you in like a trap and keeping you stuck, like limbo or something. Panda Bear's drumming is so formless that it's almost laughable at how great it oddly fits into songs. Reminds me of some hybrid form of Police + Can's drummers. Danse Manatee is strange, but that's exactly what it was designed to experiment with... and it works incredibly. Another White Singer, Essplode, to Meet the Light Child is probably one of their best three run tracks within all their albums. Light Child creates the strangest tempos and song structures, builds climaxes then throws them away (laughs) then ends with a really addicting coda.. one of my favorite songs of all time. Really smart/interesting experimentation with their sound. Paved the way for a lot of what was to come next and was the perfect idea for what to do after Spirit They've Gone.
