This is everything Tomorrow We Die Alive wanted to be, probably one of the best 'deathcore' albums I've ever listened to. Technical, beautiful and heavy as fuck. The lyrics are interesting and the vocals are spectacular, kinda wish we heard more of the cleans though.
Absolutely awesome. I've been a fan of Ovdi since I heard "Grothis, the Insatiable" a couple of months ago. Such great musicians, such heavy music. I found myself wondering if I wanted anything more from this album. Then I realized: best album of the year so far in my book.
Amazing debut album by this symphonic/death/black/core band. Super heavy throughout with fantastic songwriting and outstanding individual performances by each member, especially the vocals. A real breathe of fresh air in a stale scene. The lyrics are all based on greek mythology which is a cool angle for a metal band imo.
