best thing i've heard for a while. vocals are great, music is not overly brutal, not wankingly technical but very good

This was the best extreme metal album of 2013. This album is a monster of a recording. With extremely tight musicianship, insane song structures and impeccable timing. This "Beast" should satisfy anyone into extreme metal. In Comparison to: ...You can't...it stands on its own!
|3.5 great||DePlazz | January 6th 14|
A logical extension of the current Quebec tech/prog death scene, obvious similarities with bands like Beyond Creation and Brought by Pain, and a 'French' & 'Gorodian' feel. Generic to some extent but with flashes of originality, overall a refreshing and catchy album.

De la technique , de l originalité , de l émotion , une voix exeptionel , ont ne peut que savourer chaque écoute seconde par seconde
|5.0 classic||disjonk | December 22nd 13|
Over the top death metal, combining extreme brutality and epic melody. A future classic in the tech-death genre.
|4.5 superb||matia | December 22nd 13|
The only tech-death release this year that put something new to the table, simple as that. Sorry Gorguts, good try but we've heard that before and its not where tech-death should be headed imo.
|4.5 superb||SimpJee | December 17th 13|
Love how they combine technicality with melody throughout their songs. The vocals remind me of Chalky when he was with Psycroptic, they are chaotic ranging from gurgles, growls, to high pitched screams. Enjoyed this album thoroughly!
|4.5 superb||David Mackowiak | November 8th 13|
This is the band that tech death bands recommend to other tech death bands. Unhuman have a definitive edge over their competition with their mastery of melody and technicality, and how they properly balance the two. It is incredibly impressive how memorable this album is, especially given that this is a debut. Highly recommended shit.

Insane Technicality, perfect blend of consonance and dissonance. One of the most astounding vocal ranges in Metal. Many may find displeasure in Youri's gurgles and Macabre-esque vocals, so not for everyone. But if you really want an innovative piece of art, this album should be yours. Fans of Beyond Creation, Brought by Pain, Cryptopsy and the like should enkoy this.

Just listened to the whole album for the third time and can't stop listening to it. So refreshing to listen to ANOTHER great band from Montreal. In the vein of Necrophagist, Nile, Cryptopsy and Macabre! Insane album (a real classic!)

|4.5 superb||Benc | November 3rd 13|
This is an excellent slab of technical death metal. Every instrument is completely wild rwhich creates a very intense and enjoyable sound. For fans of Obscura, Vale of Pnath, and rBeyond Creation. rThis album is streaming at http://unhumanofficial.bandcamp.com/ as of Nov. 11, 2013
