Great album, highly educated rap. It is very enjoyable, but lacks the drive I'm looking for. Some of the instrumental portions are deep, but if Del added a bit more intensity from time to time this could be perfect. Too many of the songs feel like they are on the same energy level. Though "Madness" stands out, but sounds a bit cliché. Perhaps a few more listens will change my opinion.

Now entering from left-field, Deltron 3030. Comprised of Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan the Automater, and DJ Kid Koala, Deltron 3030's self-titled album is experimental, conceptual, and thoughtful. The setting is based in the year 3030 A.D., and Del spits some real knowledge for you wack emcees. Organic and weird, this album is sure to break any stereotypes ignorant fools have about rap. 4.2/5

one of the most original hiphop albums in my collection, this is both heady material and a fun listen. cinematic in scope, yet a good party album, del and dan are in top form.

This is probably my favorite hip hop album of all time. The production feels incredibly organic and compelling and complements the nerdy rap of Del tha Funkee Homosapien, who's distinctive voice feels especially at home with the overall aesthetic and flavor of the album. My only gripe is the presence of skits, which are much more funny, musical, and satisfying than skits on other rap albums.

Deltron 3030 is one of those albums that honestly took time to grow on me. But once I sat down and gave it my undivided attention, it became pretty much a classic in my book. No matter what, I highly doubt this album will ever sound tired to me. Its the best hip-hop album ever written in my book, replete with superb production, excellent lyricism, an uber concept, and some of the smoothest rhymes Ive never heard. If the song "Madness" doesnt make you pop a boner, you are a cyborg

Hip-hop doesn't get any slicker than this. I mean, when you take rap and give it an actual concept, that's really saying something. 3030 is the type of album that's easy to lose yourself in. It's deep, evocative, and yet just lighthearted enough to appeal to a wide variety of people. I couldn't praise this album much higher than saying that it's essential listening for anyone.

I think that this album is great. It really is cool that in the whole album Deltron, Dan the Automater, and Kid Koala are trying to save the world from evil scientists with that power of hip hop. This music is good to listen to on a plane or if you are playing a game of some sort. I think that this is a good group because the music is so diffrent from other rap artist out there. Also the style of Deltrons vocals range from very aggresive to very smooth.
My favorite tracks are: Memory Loss, 3030 , Things You Can Do, Battlesong, and Positive Contact.
