This is by far the heaviest ***ing record I have ever heard. Its the most brutal album to graze the death metal
masses since the new Bring Me The Horizon and Gorguts albums came out. It was in fact so heavy i went to
pick it up but did not lift because it was so ***ing heavy and at that point of my life i was a skinny little bitch
listening to pussy bands like Protest The Hero and Deftones so i hit up the closest gym till i got mad yoked
and then i could finally conquer this epic jun-fest.
From the opening chugs of "ravenous disease" I felt my brand new sleeve tats tickle and my gauges got wet
quick. This album has so many breakdowns and brodowns it'll have you and your bros getting real physical
in the pit/parents basement/bbq,tat parlours, really wherever you can throw the *** down. Don't even give
me the "Binary Junz" argument either because me and my bros won't even know what the *** your talking
So all in all these christ worshipping angels have shown me the way to god and to a place of never-ending
junz. So I thank you Impending Doom because without "Death Will Reign" Id still be a little bitch without
straightened hair, skinny jeans, and an Asking Alexandria shirt.
After first listen, It's Impending Doom's best album to date. It's got the same level of energy as Baptized in Filth did, but with some much better song writing and guitar work. Lyrics are just as you would expect from these guys, Christ inspired and very very angry. These guys are Christian and they let you know it, but they also vent their frustration with religion, as they always have. Definitely worth a listen.
This is Impending Dooms greatest achievement. An album capable of systematically destroying the earth's core with each penetrating down tuned riff, each horrifying scream and each thud of the anvil shattering drums. Since Baptized in Filth, the noticeable difference is the song writing. Less of the repetitive over laying break downs and more of the surprising twists and turns. The production on the album is perfect and I've never heard a guitar sound like this before. Bravo Impending Doom. BRAVO.
