4.5 superb | Dethtrasher | March 3rd 09 | Demolition Hammer was a thrash metal band from the US but they took thrash to the extremes without having death metal influences in their material. Epidemic Of Violence is one of thrash metal?s best kept secrets. This type of thrash really makes you exhausted, and that?s because that the music is incredibly fast, unusually heavy and extreme! The riffs are catchy and powerful, the drums are booming all over the place and the vocals adds extra fuel to an already loose fire. If you can?t find thrash that doesn?t grab you by the balls, then I recommend that you pick up this, because this album will!

4.0 excellent | rc1288 | April 27th 10 | The most brutal thrash album to ever face the earth. Yes, even more than Darkness Descends an Pleasure to Kil. The drummer is truly a f**cking beast, and every song is filled to the top with double bass (and excellent riffs as well) .To bad their next album would be a failed attempt to jump on the Pantera bandwagon.

4.5 superb | grungethrash91 | April 14th 10 | With a heavieness that bands like pantera only wish they could have, this band steamroles over almost everything in its path. This band is really close to sadus, and dark angel in speed and brutality, but have a unique sound of their own. Its great to so a thrash album of this quality come out as late as 1992. I think that Although thrash has never, and will never die, the original and classic thrash movement died in 1991-1992. This is one of the last classic thrash albums, as well as one of the best.

4.0 excellent | Bedex | July 3rd 19 | Yes now this is what I was hoping to hear after the demos. The opener scared me a little bit with its wankery bits and fade out ending, but after that it is jam after jam. Prod is far less muffled down and inoffensive than on Tortured Existence, resulting in a much more aggressive and fun record overall. I need to re-listen to it to pinpoint the jams and because this record is super cool, but for now I'd say 2,3,4,5,8,9. 4.2

4.5 superb | Risodo | May 26th 18 | "Epidemic of Violence" is everything... but everything that Thrash Metal is and is conceptualized as a genre. Bands of the 'Big 4' have never been able to arrive in a mystical and violent place as Demolition Hammer arrived. In my country, if you talk about Thrash, everyone speaks the best known, and the feeling that is left is that of injustice. In a short time of life, i see that the best bands of the genre are the least listened and most overlooked. After all, what is "Master of Puppets" near "Epidemic of Violence"?

5.0 classic | Resident Metalhead Piranha | March 10th 17 | Demolition brought down the Hammer with their aggressive yet melodic debut, and they up the ante for an even more venomous album in Epidemic of Violence. "Skull Fracturing Nightmare" is an even more impressive opener than their previous effort's ".44 Caliber Brain Surgery;" the drums have a far more impactful yet clear sound, the song's 260bpm pace makes for vicious riffs and vocals, and the more organic separation of the instruments in the production values makes for a more fulfilling attack overall. They even slow down for devastating grooves such as the one found on "Carnivorous Obsession," and they continue to impress with their ability to craft melodic yet technical soloing to contrast the rather downtuned, bottom-heavy pummeling of everything else. "Aborticide" may be among the best thrash/death closers ever, a [barely] five minute roller coaster of hypnotic tempo changes, demonic vocals, wild guitar work, and the machine gun tour de force drumming of Vinny Daze, and it's pure class from start to finish. This violent epidemic of cut-rate thrash is an orgy of destruction and a metalhead's wet dream.

4.0 excellent | AnAutopsy | August 25th 16 | Solid riffs and solid drumming. It's a shame that the drummer passed away. He provided Demolition Hammer with some of the tightest heart pounding drums in thrash metal.

5.0 classic | ChaoticVortex | March 30th 15 | The sonic equivalent of the Dresden bombardment. Quite possibly the most ferocious, intense and heavy-as-hell piece of thrash metal ever made and one of my personal favorite records.

5.0 classic | Jared Floryan | December 2nd 14 | On the darker side of reality is a world where morgues exist to replace ordinary homes and every other pitiful destination. As one note as it may sound, you just can't deny an essential album like Epidemic of Violence, hailed as a classic within both the thrash and death metal genres. With its monstrous production values and fast-paced riffs all bunched together alongside Steve Reynolds' intimidating shrieks, the record dances and pisses noxious fumes for absolutely nobody. Demolition Hammer from New York forged a terrifyingly fantastic release here, and if you've gone missing from the carnivorous assaults, then this is perhaps the one thing which will make a peasant such as yourself reconsider.

0.0 | skeletorissatan | October 21st 12 | An absolute monster riff fest of an album matched by so few. This is an album that is absolute chaos in its purest form and works so well, being both crushingly heavy and amazingly well written. the guitar work is nearly unmatched by any thrash anywhere, and the vocals are increidble but it is the drumming on this album that stands out the best-the drumming on here is phenomanal and sticks out among so many awesome thrash releases.
