Props to the engineer and whatever autonomous autobot worked on this, because they've literally stripped every single shred of life out of the instruments. This thing is produced within a fucking inch of its life. Also, gotta love the strings in the opening track - that's some true Michael Bay-esque cock-tugging there, making me think something epic might actually happen. Also we get it, you have a theremin, that doesn't mean you look any less like an idiot when you slap the air around it every 5 seconds

Although it was so brilliantly fine - the blue sky powdered with gold and great spots of light like white wine splashed over the Jardins Publiques - Miss Brill was glad that she had decided on her fur. The air was motionless, but when you opened your mouth there was just a faint chill, like a chill from a glass of iced water before you sip, and now and again a leaf came drifting - from nowhere, from the sky. Miss Brill put up her hand and touched her fur. Dear little thing! It was nice to feel it again. She had taken it out of its box that afternoon, shaken out the moth-powder, given it a good brush, and rubbed the life back into the dim little eyes. "What has been happening to me?" said the sad little eyes. Oh, how sweet it was to see them snap at her again from the red eiderdown! ... But the nose, which was of some black composition, wasn't at all firm. It must have had a knock, somehow. Never mind - a little dab of black sealing-wax when the time came - when it was absolutely necessary ... Little rogue! Yes, she really felt like that about it. Little rogue biting its tail just by her left ear. She could have taken it off and laid it on her lap and stroked it. She felt a tingling in her hands and arms, but that came from walking, she supposed. And when she breathed, something light and sad - no, not sad, exactly - something gentle seemed to move in her bosom.

No matter how brilliant her wordplay, the result was the same. Gary's peeny was now erect. It felt like a quality
bar of peeny-scented soap in her hands. Without warning she gave it a swift headbutt, because men liked
that. All men liked that.She could feel her horny levels rising to 30% and her hooha was getting right slimy
with anticipation of participation."Gary, me need sex now inside please." Damn! Melissa thought. I wish there
was a better way to say that!Gary was only too eager to comply. He wrenched his peeny away from Melissa's
grubby paws and thrust inside her hooha with a thunderous orgasm. She was pregnant, but that could be
dealt with in the morning, provided she was still alive."Outstanding stuff, Melanie," Gary chortled. "I know I
could just go to sleep now, but I would like to continue satisfying you, sans peeny.""What in have you mind
eeeeeee?""Just sit back and relax, kitty cat."Melissa did just that , falling back onto the bed and stretching her
"perfect 7" body, eager for Gary's attention. He started working his magic immediately and she felt an all too
familiar heat rising from her breast. Gary was crouched over top and pooping all over her unbelievably
average body."Gary, so stinky.""That's just the poop, baby. Let it just work its magic.""I... I can't see
anything.""that's because you're blind now, Mildred."

So far, it doesn't sound as good as The Discovery, but it sounds great.

Listening to the album preview shows that these guys have the potential to write some decent songs. That potential is not realized on this album.

Don't be fooled by the first two singles, this album isn't that bad. "Illusionist" might be one of the catchiest tracks BOO has ever written.

The Discovery part 2 this is not, however, it's still a good album. This band needs a great
lead guitarist to take them to another level. Illusionist is a sweet track.

Tomorrow We Die Alive is an album full of Point A's that never really reach any true Point B's. Amongst an excessive amount of generic chugs and stagnant structures, BoO's identity is not lost, but their ability as musicians only appears in brief spurts. Between the newly applied, Chester Bennington-esque vocal style of their keyboardist/co-vocalist and boxed-in, simple skeleton arrangements, one has to wonder why Born Of Osiris would ever swap their skills as songwriters for a streamlined collection of B-sides that want to be singles.

I don't know... I think they could have come up with a better title. This just one just seems out of place. There's no "The" to be find. I'm disturbed by this.

For the first few months, I was SO angry at this album, because it didn't live up to my expectations at all. However, over time it has developed a special place in my heart, and has some of my favorite BOO songs. Its not as progressive and evolved as i'd like, but some of the songs are just SO badass.
|4.5 superb||DarknessPrevails | May 6th 14|
It may be a step back from The Discovery, but Tomorrow We Die Alive is a catchy, ambient deathcore release that shows Born of Osiris' experimentation side. Some may complain about the emphasis on the keyboard elements and the use of open note chugs, but Tomorrow We Die Alive still shows the BOO's ability to create catchy, heavy, and well written tunes.

This sounds like a really really watered down version of their previous album. The first track was great but from there it went downhill. There were some moments sprayed troughout this LP that I liked, but overall I don't dig the mechanical production (which normally isn't a problem for me in metal, as I dig a lot of Technical Death Metal, this is just mechanical in a really bad way), the vocals got a bit too BMTH-esque a lot of the time, and everything felt really uninspired. Big dissapointment.

wtf how can you do this to us after putting out something as friggin awesome as The Discovery?
|3.5 great||MaxDevious | September 23rd 13|
If I didn't happen to really like BOO's style to begin with this would get a 2.5. There are some great moments but the uninspired-sounding stuff between them loses my attention.

The mixing of deathcore with electronic music is intriguing, but as the album progresses temporally, the whole thing becomes repetitive.

The Discovery II this is not. What it is, however, is a great album on its own.
|4.5 superb||TheFourthCircle25 | August 20th 13|
A step back from The Discovery for sure, but that doesn't stop it from being a really awesome album.
|3.5 great||voiceofresistance | August 19th 13|
Vocals improved more than expected. and Lee stepped it up on this album, theres some groovy A Higher Place-esque riffs in the second half of the album, and with Joe Buras tossing in some uplifting, ambient, and even dark synth makes for a ridiculously fun listen. The drums are top notch and definitely Cams best to date. The bass is audible so thats a plus. Only downfalls are the clean vocals, it completely fucks up the song vibe. And its relatively short, I was hoping for something a bit longer. lol I hope theres some bonus tracks eventually
|3.5 great||VanFullOfSpooks | August 19th 13|
The 2 singles they released are indeed very generic and makes me question why they chose to
release those 2 songs to promote the album but do not be fooled, this is a good album. While
it is no where near the level of The Discovery, it is still a great album on it's own with
some really good songs. The song "Illusionist" is an example of a good song on the album
that also has a Within The Ruins "feel" to it. If they had another guitarist to include more
solos I would of given this a 4.
