Even when treated independently from their other releases, Collapsible Lung is still a weak album overall. It is littered with way too many filler tracks and weak melodies/lyrics that make for a very average record. The record does shine in a few instances though, such as the opening track or when Thiessen makes use of his ever-ready falsettos. Recommended: Don't Blink, Lost Boy, If I Could Take You Home

It feels like a pop record with some indie rock elements. Also his lyrics could be so much better than this.

First three songs are strong, then it deteriorates into rubbish by Relient K standards. Even the self-titled is better than this. This is the first and (hopefully, looking forward) only Relient K album that leaves me saying "meh."

It's Bruno Mars with more guitars. Seriously, I feel betrayed. I loved Forget And Not Slow Down. This has barely anything to do with that.

Cant decide what I think of it yet, lyrics have definitly taken a dip, and its nowhere near the level that FANSD was on. Still its got some classic Relient K quirkiness and is super catchy. 3 for now
