Most bands that release gorundbreaking records, usually don't get much attention for their debuts. This is said for CTTS's self-titled Ep. Despite being a much more normal emo record, the record is still superb. The bone-chilling intro adds to the dark, emotional, yet scary feel to the record. The male-female screaming system is not as used as in As the Roots Undo, which takes away a little bit of variety. The long beautiful don't seem to be used as much either, but that gives the band room to show their Hardcore roots. But the album holds as a very strong, and even suberb Emo record.
