wish i knew what people saw in this bland, boring band. pretty poor songwriting with awful production (i don't mean badly recorded, i mean the recording style just doesn't work with the album) that just goes on and on and on.

Well, if you like their previous stuff, or if you like similar acts such as Ash Borer you'll love this. It's full of really murky production, very muted and far-off vocals, and decent drumming. It's hard to get past the "recorded in the bathroom" kind of sound, but once I did, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the album. What bothers me is that there isn't really anything promising here, and it doesn't make me want to hear more. If you're not sure if you like it, listen to Emergence and if you're not 100% into it then don't bother with the other two.

I like Fell Voices and lo-fi production as much as the next guy, but hand in hand, this shit just doesn't mix.

Disappointing release in my opinion. So far I think it's my least favorite work by Fell and at times just feels uninspired and uninteresting - especially the first song. Things pick up a bit after the 1st song boredom but it's still a lot less interesting than their other work I think.
