I have never listened to BVB material up until now. Heard this. Three okay tracks with surprisingly good instrumentation. 16 rubbish mid tempo Nickelback rockers and pretentious F.E.A.R Transmission's that tell a rubbish story. This is bubblegum metal in every sense of the word, inoffensive, cliche'd and forgettable

As someone who disliked BVB's first two albums, I found this album to be refreshing. Some of the lyrics were a bit cheesy as well as the transmission tracks, but catchy riffs, solos, and choruses make this worth listening to, even if you weren't a fan before.

Honestly, anyone who hates this with enough passion to get butthurt on the internet about it probably hasn't heard it. It's cock rock with a few extra bells and whistles and an attempt to personally connect to the band's audience with some silly story about a girl and her nightmares. I'd suggest staying away, but if you're, for some reason, in the mood for some bland radio metal, go for it and take a peek!

Human beings, eh? We are a funny lot to be fair-to think that anyone could envision such a humongous piece of shit as this. But here we are in January 2013 and I am not happy to say that this is among the worst things I have ever heard and if you have any self respect, any understanding of how much of an atrocity Black veil Brides are to the music industry, you WILL buy this-just to snap it into two, and then another two, and then burn the motherfucker after that.

This album is a mess in many ways. Far too long, unneeded pieces, a guitar player that seems to be on another plane from the rest of his cast. Nothing seems to make sense or add up here, except for the fact that this 19-track affair is destined to be a coaster.

BVB step up. Only to be knocked down by their own flawed perceptions. The Wretched and the Divine is like shoving a sword down someones throat - only to turn around and swallow the same blade. Also kudos to whoever broke the shoutbox page.

So I start off my listening experience of 2013 with seemingly the most generic and played out album ever in Black veil bride's (shitty fuckin name) wretched and divine. Every song is a blatant rip off of Avenged Sevenfold with a Children of Bodom inspired riff thrown in for good measure. And on some songs it even sounds like the vocalist is trying his best to channel Nickelback. At the end of the album you will literally have no recollection of this shit, which is one positive way to look at it I guess.

Ridiculously cheesy lyrics and actual fun musicianship makes for a bad album according to sputnik (you bunch of queefs). this is actually a really fun album that i enjoy with some great songs and musicianship. the violins add a hell of a lot of emotion to the music and andys voice has really been a huge improvement over set the world on fire, new years day rulez as does in the end
