"Man Into Demon" is just the best god damn thing. Actually the entire album is just the best god damn thing. Every single thing I've ever wanted in a heavy record is contained in Reach Beyond the Sun's 34 minutes. This is the true follow up to That Within Blood Ill-Tempered.
With the return of Chad Gilbert on vocals, and the consistently stellar guitar work of Matt Fox, Shai Hulud have arguably created their finest piece of music in the entirety of their eighteen year career.
After listening to this multiple times today, I actually went out and ordered a physical copy.... That's saying a lot considering I just tend to download most of my music or buy it off of iTunes.
Even though i love Misanthropy Pure, i feel they found a way to completely go above that album. The 2 songs they have released got me feeling that this album is well worth the time we waited.
