0.0 | botb | September 18th 07 | From the remnants of "the first emo band ever" Sunny Day Real Estate come Jeremy Enigk, Nate Mendel, and Will Goldsmith. This album pretty much picks up the SDRE sound with new influences and different writing tecniques but the same loveable musicians. This record is great for all soft rock and indie fans.

4.5 superb | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | March 30th 22 | From their emo upbringings straight to emo-laced alt-rock, post-SDRE crew has made a throttling rock record of heartache and infectious hooks, all delivered in the most damaged froggy throat vocals.

3.5 great | TRMshadow | January 30th 13 | It still has a lot of that SDRE sound, but with the near-decade that passed between Diary and this' release a bit of the emotion that made earlier SDRE so f**king enjoyable has been for the most part lost. Not a terrible album, but it sounds way too much like a mainstream producer broke into the SDRE studio and put his own spin on the already beautiful music. 3.4/5
