I heard a couple songs from them in the past, decided to give this one a listen. Nothing special but I'd say pretty solid. Vocals are good on both fronts, and its seems to be pretty impressive that they are done by the same guy. Orchestral elements give a bit of originality and that piano interlude "Enigmatic" is long but catchy as hell.Instrumentation is pretty good actually, especially the symphonic parts. Some standout tracks, some not-so-standout. Nothing groundbreaking here but I'd say an enjoyable listen.
Completely switching the direction they were headed towards, In Fear and Faith have completely revitalized their sound, with superb vocals, solid instrumentation and an interesting yet crisp production style, but the real star of the show is the piano and synthesizer work, which is the main focus of the entire album, with particular emphasis on the stunning piano ballad "Enigmatic". In Fear and Faith prove they are one of the top acts in the genre and should not be written off as just another Post-Hardcore band.
