Fun album, big improvement from odd blood. fragrent world has a much more mature vibe to it, picking up things that odd blood lacked.

Listened to this b/c "Henrietta" was a good song. Like their previous album, it's one (maybe two) good songs, and the rest are garbage. Not really a disappointment, since I didn't have any expectations. But it seems to me they put effort into a few songs, then slack off the rest. A typical pop group.

These are certainly some interesting sounding pop songs with a great and very thirst quenching electronics and instrumentation but with all these things; I still feel as if I'm being left with the production acting like a solid brick wall. I.E There isn't enough subtly or human touch for me in this album. Everything is dressed so bombastically and carefully that I can't put my foot in the door at any point in the album and it's not entirely cohesive either. All the tracks seem to be battling their hardest to outdo each other. Obviously these guys are a talented bunch who put plenty of thought into their record but they need to find a way to invite listeners in.
