Some great songs, some bad songs and some alright songs. Basically, the most predictable release of 2012.

This album is like gay butter, and I'm a knife that just wants something exciting to cut into. This does not deliver that excitement and leaves me in a state of boredom as I know that every slice I take into that bar of butter will be as gay as the last.

Recaptures the magic of The '59 Sound in a fresh way. Such a good album. Don't really recommend the rbonus tracks, I'm glad they were left off, except for Teenage Rebellion. That should have been the album rcloser if it were mixed better

If it were up to me, I'd say The Gaslight Anthem do what they do better than Bruce did. Handwritten is yet another fantastic addition to the band's catalogue.

In terms of quality of the songs this isn't as good as The '59 Sound however this is a 5 for me because of being personally able to relate to every single song in some way. That, to me, is what music is about. Being able to hear a song and instantly think its being played only for you. That is why this album for me is perfect. The beauty and relatability in every word of every song.

This was a very fun and "feeling of hope" style album; many uplifting, polished guitar melodies along with some powerful vocals. This was definitely a favorite of mine from 2012 and I really hope they can make something like this in the future. 'Handwritten' (the song), was so damn good.
