With his first mixtape, Chief Keef and DJ Young Chop bridges Atlanta's trap aesthetic developed by Waka Flocka Flame and Lex Luger on Flockaveli, Chicago South Side tough'n'gangsta attitude, and G-Unit beats (yes imma die on that hill, drill = G-Unit + trap). The aesthetic is already present, but the second half struggles to be as memorable as the first one.

chief keef has so much potential but he's just too content with puttin out sub-par songs. but I think this Chief Keef is the best chief keef. it's raw shit that just sounds like a dark night in southside Chi town and this is just a dude in a hoodie ready to come out the shadows and buss ya head open any second as opposed to the super catchy mumbly Keef on the album. Designer and I Don't Like are the best songs
