Best fucking band on metalblade right now. This album totally slays and I seriously don't understand how these guys aren't already the next big thing.

Smart and interesting songwriting that swings between modern technical death metal structures and extremely catchy harmonies. Allegaeon is definitely one of the most interesting new acts around. Impressive album and a must have for all metal fans out there.

Nothing wrong with the style or the technical proficiency on this album. It's just lacking anything distinctive to help it stand on its own. Boring.

Actual trash. Okay, not that horrible, but incredibly boring and sterile. The players are all good, sure, but so one-dimesional. Drumming being the worst offender, except possibly the bass, but one cannot even hear it with the boring and compressed production. Best parts are the solos.

Riffs and solos are awesome, vocals well performed and drums are fast and powerful. Songs kind of blend together after a while and solos don't always fit the riffs underpinning them but otherwise, a stellar release.
