| Dedes Get with those Cthulian riffs my guy. Easily their most cathartic album and maybe most...sprawling. It's impressively grandiose as far as quasi-blackened death metal goes.

Rn I'm rejamming Fen for the first time in yearrrrrs and I gotta say Winter is much more beautiful and ambitious then I could ever appreciate then.

| Dmax28 Yea I did. I had a girlfriend with me who wasn't as into it and it was getting late and we had a long drive so we left halfway through Enslaved. But I was impressed by how cohesive and interesting they sounded. There were 5 members in Enslaved. Ivar was there too after missing several shows. I dont think they officially announced he was coming back. The whole band was on stage, which was a very pleasant surprise

| Dmax28 Yes I did. It was a pretty good time. Second guitar could have been turned up. When he was doing the leads the rhythm was louder and it sounded a little weird. It was also funny after almost every song, the band would leave the stage and it would be just the bass talking to the audience to Introduce the next song. (Sorry I don't know names off the top of my head). Markus Vanhala was hamming it up which was entertaining

| Dmax28 Hey man. That album by Thamnos was great. Very interesting, strangely obscure once again. The new singles are odd. I wanted to ask if Enslaved or Insomnium played first on the tour? I'm going to see them on Friday, I'm really going for Insomnium, especially since one of the Enslaved members can't make it? But was Enslaved still worth seeing?

| Dmax28 Yea it's mind boggling how these bands are so obscure but the albums are so well done. It's inspiring that they have that passion and talent to develop this stuff in the underground and independently. But as an aspiring musician it's also sobering. I wish these guys would get some of the attention they deserve because I know there are plenty that would like it that just don't know it exists. Maybe they aren't trying to promote it as much as some others

| Dmax28 Hey man I haven't been inspired to review anything in a long time. Life has gotten a lot busier. But I just found this band Dissentient, their new album Labyrinth is massive. And they are a completely underground band which always has a mystique about it when the music is this accomplished. I may review it. I like to try to turn people on to stuff I know they'd miss otherwise and that some will really like.

| Dmax28 Dude I was going to that tour too. I have been looking forward to it since it was announced way back in like October. Omnium Gatherum is essentially my favorite band and Markus Vanhala is one of my favorite guitarists so it's a bummer. Personally this all feels like an overreaction tbh but we will see.

| Dmax28 Yea I've had it on repeat. I've probably heard the album 6 times already. 69 minutes of peak melodeath. When it's this good and varied I don't feel the length at all, I'm really glad it's so long. It's so damn good it's hard to believe. I admit I've caught myself speaking hyperbole about albums that were a pleasant surprise, but this is different. The songs are so complex and naturally evolving, those ballsy riffs are so slick. I have to share this with more people haha.

| Dmax28 That Pandemonium album is so good. The first two and last songs are melodeath staples as far as I'm concerned. I lost track of that album after hearing it and was looking for it for some time, I didn't realize it was by those guys. I'm glad that can stop bugging me now Their new one is no slouch either. It can be shocking when something is so good and unknown. That Shaded Enmity is great too, never heard those guys. The songs are so long but there are lots of great passages.

| Dmax28 Hey Frozencarl it's me, the guy that recommended you that Shadecrown album a while back :PWell Aesmah is just releasing their album and I truly and fully believe it's the next big thing in Melodic Death Metal, at least quality wise. Of course, I was hoping for the best, and it easily surpassed my wildest expectations.
