 | Insurrection Oh, I thought he did a fine job. He definitely wasnt the reason I didnt enjoy it, the album just felt too mainstream-metal for me.

| Pennywise_M Daniel has been writing the guitars for like 4 months, we pretty much have the rhythmic guitars for the 5 songs of the EP completely written, but it's only now that i'm writing the drums. Still on the 2nd song though so there's still a long path. leads/solos and bass so yeah, don't be so envious about it hahaThat's awesome man, that would be a killer job for you. Happy for you man m/Waiting for that new WOG single, bet it's gonna rule

| Pennywise_M Hey my good mate, sorry for the late replying, was kinda absent for a while in these last few days. Those are all awesome news! Eager to listen to your new single and good luck with those gigs. About the sound engineer training, great man, you thinking about working on something as a producer or something of that sort? About myself, been working on EoA's new EP, still a lot of work to do but we already have a good bunch of songs thought out already, hoping for a September/October release.

| Pennywise_M Damn man, tough luck. I actually write my reviews on Word, to avoid any problems. Well i do not know that band. I see that you and Longbeaver (that i assume to be Logan or a friend of yours) rated it 4. I guess i'll listen to it when i find the time. And yeah go for it man. It's pretty cool about writing on a word file before posting, you can write in two or three different moments. I usually write it all in one moment, but i always go proof read it and sometimes change it/complete it.

| Pennywise_M About Sempiternal, well it's a pretty good album, i'm actually inclined towards bumping it to a 3.5 but i'm still undecided. It's pretty strong sometimes, while at other times feels like an attempt at being catchy without much effort.Anyway if i may, i take it as this album is slightly overrated but hey, that's just me haha

| Pennywise_M Thank you very much Hunter. That is very, very cool of you. We appreciate that very much, i can't even express how. But yeah, we're pretty focused on that DIY philosophy for now. It started this way and i think we're going to keep it this way. It's good for us to learn new things and evolve as musicians overall. And yes, i'm confident that we'll manage to put out something we're proud of at every level!

| Pennywise_M Oh yeah and meanwhile we decided to carry on with the name "Elision Of Animus" since Animus was being used a lot already, which would make it a little more difficult for the name to stick with people, and to find us online. Besides there is a BM band with that same name, that kind made us uncomfortable for some reason haha. Still has its meaning untouched. And we think it sounds pretty good.

| Pennywise_M Hey Hunter sup. I'll have a week off work starting tomorrow, and we're gonna be working hard on the last arrangements. Late April it's out! Down to the mastering by now. There's only two of us and we barely grasped the basics of mastering even by now, so we've been exploring some stuff to see what comes out. Just trying to get the basic stuff nailed and make it tastier for the folks. Thanks for asking mate.

| Pennywise_M OK so i shouldn't have rated so soon lol. I ended up being pulled towards Kingdom Of Mind again in the last couple of days, and it finally sank in. It just clicked. It sure is a very depthy album, and it's one of those that takes its' time to sink in. It did and i bumped it to a 3.5 mate, and today when i arrive from work i'll start to write a review for it. I think i'll have it up by tomorrow. Cheers.

| Pennywise_M Yeah my thoughts exactly. It's pretty good man. We have everything recorded but the vocals, but the instrumental part is getting all spruced up already haha. Well, we're aiming to mid-late April. Nothing official, but it won't go beyond that hopefully.

| Pennywise_M Oh and about BMTH, i was never into their stuff much.. But the last two albums well, they're very decent. They are actually evolving, which is pretty surprising these days for bands with their reputation. They are surely putting some effort on their work.

| Pennywise_M Man.. Are you serious?? Our debut EP will be centered in a man, a character if you will, that has wronged many in his life and is struggling to deal with his past. It will talk about his descent to the depths of his conscience in which he fights his demons to achieve cleansing. I'd say it's pretty comparable, since we were actually thinking of sticking to that character and write the next EP on his redemption. That was actually the name we were thinking about. "Redemption". Hahaha

| Pennywise_M I also gave Make Them Suffer a 3. And people say its the best metalcore album of 2012! I compare it to your album in some ways actually. I seriously advice you to go through it if you still didn't. And read my soundoff about it too. Im sure you will relate what i said about Kingdom Of Mind with what i said about Neverbloom. =)

| Pennywise_M Me saying that about a 60 minute album IS something, haha. And i plan on keeping coming back. I haven't had the time to do that as much as i wanted. Again, as it stands (time, genre, length, feeling, dynamics), your album is very, very good. A 3 doesn't make it justice, at all. Anyway i'll stand by my statements. Someone that seeks a good, mature "classic" metalcore/melodic death album, can't definitely go wrong. And ill make sure to keep spreading about you guys.

| Pennywise_M Oh i was going to address you for that soundoff! Well like i told you before, i dont go a lot for "pure" Metalcore. I like Mis Sigs, Make them Suffer, Sylosis, Threat Signal and such - but that is that. It's not the kind of thing that keeps me on the edge of my seat. I do recognize their quality though. Just like in your band, i can perfectly put you among those names. The transitions are outstanding, and the idea of coming back to listen to it throughly is really seductive, always.

 | Duckman118 Just listened to a couple more tracks off your album, really enjoying it. You guys remind me of a classic Killswitch or Soilwork. The production is also very nice. Ill keep sharing your stuff on the Facebook and maybe at some point ill get a pre paid mastercard or something and buy this bad boy, and try to spread your stuff on Youtube. Always love helping out good, unknown artists.

| Pennywise_M Well, i think it was time to actually care about writing something like that. Thanks.Yeah my band's name is Animus. We wrote adn recorded 2 full songs in 2011, and have been working on our debut EP since April 2012. Now, our current sound is nothing like our demos, for real. Right now we're pretty much Prog/Deathcore/Tech Death i think, and now we actually know how to record and produce our stuff haha. Anyway, these are our demos.

| Pennywise_M I'll try to make it happen though. Tomorrow ill listen to the album for quite a while, and when/if i have the time, ill try to make it happen.I mean it when i say you guys ARE very good. I've listened to soo much Metalcore, damn, you have no idea haha. And i do recon, a band with qualities such as yours? Like 1 in, lets say, 50. I rate bands with a lot less talent than you guys with 3's and 3.5's. I like Oceano and such lol. Again, you have a very attractive sound.

| Pennywise_M Haha yeah, i tried to describe my pov towards it the best i could. I go for a more "groovey" thing these days, but it's not hard to understand you guys got something there, i mean it. Very mature, solid release. Yeah the list thing didnt go well cus they thought it was all a big play or wtv. It happens quite a lot. The problem is the "target users" didn't get to see the list. A lot of people here hating on Core music, they are surely not the target peeps. haha

| Pennywise_M As for myself, ill keep listening to it. First listen, very interesting stuff. Conception, perdition pt.1.. Dolor seems to slow the album down quite a bit, and it felt strangely good to listen to it thoroughly. It comes in the right time too. But right now Seeking Sanity would be my favorite. You compress everything you can do well in 4 very intense minutes. Ill get back to you further on.

| Pennywise_M The album flows very well and didnt actually bore me for a 61 minute album. The way you guys put some breakdowns here and there, man, so good. Feels planned out all the time. This needs to get out, seriously. Im making a list here to spread the word around the site. Im sure there's a lot of people here that would love your sound!

| Pennywise_M Ok i listened to your album and let me just give small input via Sputnik lol:First of all it was a lengthy album, which makes it harder to digest. Anyway, it's pretty much a GOLD MINE for anyone looking for something among the lines of Sylosis, Threat Signal, Make Them Suffer etc.. Its pretty mature and filled with content. You are all very competent musicians, again, you're a great singer and its refreshing to hear you sing throughout. You lead singer is also very good.

| Pennywise_M Let me start by saying you are a very good singer. I loved Seeking Sanity, i hadn't heard a Metalcore song this good in a while, i'm serious.
