| Keyblade i jammed like half of it last night and it was awesome. jamming the rest now. Panabrite is one of my favorite ambient artists of the last few years. dude has been really prolific, but he hasn't really made a "holy s*** this is amazing" album until now. His new album is just amazing and easily the best he's done.

 | omnipanzer I feel about the same. It has a couple of killer tracks on it but over all the album is about a 3.8/5 for me. not his best but not bad. I'll be spinning it for years to come and I think that is really the yardstick to measure it buy.

| silentpotato time frame is whatever man no rush at all just chill back and take yo time, i mean only certain songs i make would be appropriate so im just gonna kind of keep writing and if i make a song that seems like it is right for this kind of thing ill save it for that otherwise im still hard at work on the new album. if over time we both end up witha couple songs we think would suit said purposes id be super down to put em together.

| Havey I think we just have different ways of rating stuff. Take a look at your 3.5s, would you really label all of them as GREAT? I for one love most of my 3.5s and some of em are on frequent rotation here. That said' I do have Reachin', NSV, Loveless and Vashti all 4.5d. Antonio Carlos Jobim should be up there as well but I don't think I've gotten around to rating his stuff yet

 | Ethics it's not that i really dislike ratings i just feel like some people listen to albums JUST to rate them instead of appreciating them and letting them sink in for a while

| Ethics i dislike rating albums and i'm really trying to veer away from thinking of music on a scale (i.e 4.5, 3.5, 3) because i don't want to view it that way as an artist/musician later on in life. through wiping my ratings hopefully it will help me take the initiative to appreciate an artist's work as an independent piece all of it's own and not compare it to some other album all the time. it's just a small pet peeve of mine.. and i catch myself sometimes so trying to stop lol

| Ethics yeah, i'm definitely going to keep at it. there's no way i wouldn't. really serious about music, and i plan to be for the rest of my life. we don't really like specifying genres... we don't even really know what we're aiming for right now as far as a particular sound. we're just trying to let it come to us whenever it does. kind of create our own sound kind of thing. and i'll definitely let you know what i think of your work.
