  • Hello. Just to let you know that there's a vinyl reissue of Horizzzons on Public House Recordings. Your constructive criticism about track selection has been taken into consideration.https://www.normanrecords.com/records/175054-galerie-stratique-horizzzonshttps://galeriestratique.bandcamp.com

  • Pon Shame you couldn't write as often as you'd have liked to last year, I think you were easily the most underrated contrib
    February 17 12:37 PM
  • Arcade maybe contact Ali and see if he can do anything for you. i'm certain people will drop out of their dibs before the date so he might be able to give you first priority
    December 27 10:18 AM
  • Arcade I'll add you to the contributors fb group if you like
    December 26 02:30 PM
  • Typhoner tof :-).
    October 30 07:58 PM
  • aok yuup. lookin for a job but mostly actually enjoying a bit of time off tbh. Dr De Clercq has a nice ting to it ;)
    October 16 04:49 AM
  • aok "Kinda going the Four Tet route to more dancey stuff" good point. all good by you i'd hope?
    October 9 05:49 AM
  • ShitsofRain wow
    October 4 05:16 PM
  • Typhoner wisselvallig, maar komt wel goed
    October 4 03:15 PM

    October 4 09:00 AM
  • Typhoner 's goed. Gewoon in de AB?
    October 1 06:00 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges Indeed. I also checked out Velo Di Maya the other day. Really cool stuff. I already told TMobotron, but I'm considering the idea of adding some of the other artists from The Bunker NY bandcamp page into the database.
    September 15 10:03 AM
  • ExplosiveOranges Dude, A U R O R A is soooooo good.
    September 14 04:47 PM
  • MrElmo K thanks man
    September 13 01:41 PM
  • MrElmo hey sup dude this is a very old alt account of TheBarber (the Under The Skin digger), been banned and am not appearing on the Banned Users forum, since you're a contrib I thought you might knew how or where I've got to go to see my reason of ban as well as for how long it'll be the case. Thanks very much in advance for the info dude and sorry for bothering
    September 11 05:36 PM
  • TMobotron Okay yeah my Lioncharge copy got here today and both of these tracks are fire. I think I like the B side a little more for its awesome bassline and sweet little melody, but the percussion on the A is killer.
    September 6 11:35 PM
  • jefflebowski been jamming that cobblestone jazz LP (and their previous one) pretty much non-stop the last few days, it's brilliant. The monolake and voices from the lake i'm finding a little harder going but there's definite promising signs there - the sound design on silence is absolutely incredible, it might be the best sounding album i've ever heard
    August 30 09:14 PM
  • TMobotron I trust you! That's good to hear. Haha every time I've told myself I'd stop buying vinyl some limited pressing that I want drops and it completely goes to s***. Too hard to resist sometimes.
    August 30 01:59 AM
  • TMobotron Yeah some of the recent ones I haven't been crazy about. I kind of jumped the gun and bought this one without sampling it much so I'm waiting for it to arrive to give it a proper listen which is exciting. And awesome on the Burial re-press, pre-ordered that as well! Now please quit making me buy things! lol. I dig that rough trade site though and see they just added a US location. Might have to check that out more.
    August 29 05:11 PM
  • TMobotron Cool thanks for the heads up, I grabbed a copy. Is this really limited to 100 or is that just the bandcamp #? it's up on redeye (for cheaper and better shipping rates as well) along w/ 006 and 007 still.
    August 28 07:37 PM
  • jefflebowski I already own fin (and love it) and i think someone else recommended me hinterland as well so i'll get right on that, the rest should keep me going for a while, much obliged
    August 28 11:30 AM
  • jefflebowski seeing as you're pretty switched on when it comes to the electronic side of things, i was wondering if you had any similar recs to jon hopkins' immunity? I've checked out stuff like pantha du prince and trentemoller but they don't really have that super organic, natural feel hopkins gets with his field recording elements. any pointers would be much appreciated
    August 27 02:47 PM
  • TheBarber Thanks see ya around dude :]
    August 26 04:49 PM
  • Jots Good advice, thanks dude! I'll edit it in a bit...It's a pretty informal review which isn't something I normally do, but I shouldn't have left out that kinda stuff
    August 24 12:49 PM
  • TheBarber Never really stayed in Belgium apart to travel north haha. I live in France, around Paris; good place to be for gigs even though my country is pretty crummy at promoting music but thankfully there's some really sweet exceptions for bm (and electronic music too so I've heard but I'm still a bit of a noob in that departement, warming up to it more and more though)
    August 24 12:28 PM
  • TheBarber To me it's just really cool to finaly see more and more flicks that concentrate mainly around the audiovisual experience of Cinema without being inflated by story (namely Enter The Void, Only God Forgives and this as the most recent and known examples); hopefully this "trend" (but we probs can't call it that way) will give us more amazing/hypnotising/glorious ****ed up art flicks with balls but hey that's just me hoping ^^. Where you from dude?
    August 24 10:23 AM
  • TheBarber Even Under The Skin's soundtrack and sound montage is pretty fascinating and devouring, like that main theme heard within the dark alien world, under all the anxiety it breathes on the viewer I could almost sense some sort of twisted sensuality as if someone made a darkside of Massive Attack's Angel (or at least that's how I think of it).
    August 24 10:15 AM
  • Jots hey clerc, would you be able to give me some input on my latest review? I've gotten some good advice from guys like atrink, kirk et al but the more the merrier
    August 23 06:11 PM
  • Wolfhorde Happens. There's more than enough music out there.
    August 23 02:28 PM
  • Wolfhorde Thanks! Haha, so I guess my instinct was right about "witch house". Yeah, I'm already familiar with Marissa Nadler although I'm admittedly not the biggest of fan of that kind of "dreary" music. Recently, I've actually been more into electronica-esque female stuff like Chvrches and Banks.
    August 23 02:05 PM
  • TheBarber Cheers I dig yours too even though I never managed to find where it was from, also yeah fav movie this year by a lonshot and one of the few time I was this struck inside the cinema, also gonna see (and a tad excited for) Winter Sleep soon but I doubt it'll beat Under The Skin.
    August 23 12:25 PM
    August 20 01:13 PM
  • Typhoner Ticket is geclaimd!
    August 20 12:32 PM
  • Typhoner hola!
    August 20 11:35 AM
  • jefflebowski great description, that sounds like exactly what you'd want from a teamup like that. i sometimes feel herbie's solo stuff has strayed toward the safe end of things post-headhunters so it's nice to hear he's still willing to be a bit more out there...apparently he's featuring on the new flylo LP too, should be interesting at the very least
    August 15 04:09 PM
  • jefflebowski pretty much the two greatest living jazzmen, that must've been incredible. what kind of material were they doing?
    August 15 12:11 PM
  • Deviant. SO I HEAR YOU LIKE THE NEW SHACKLETON
    August 2 09:24 AM
  • TMobotron Hey clerc have you re-thought that Logos 3.5 yet :) ?
    August 2 05:56 AM
  • Sleaper you been hitting up many of the festivals dude? seen soooo many sick techno festivals happening all throughout europe.. makes me so angry haha.
    August 2 12:54 AM
    July 25 05:00 PM
  • Typhoner yep yep, had 'm al ;-)
    July 25 05:00 PM
  • TMobotron Dude I saw the RA post about that, I'm not gonna be home until late tonight and it's been killing me all day. Can't wait to listen.
    July 25 12:02 AM
    July 5 05:35 PM
  • Rev yeah, i've only listened to it like twice in full but it's immense haha. also new bansheebeat is coming along if you care haha
    June 9 11:20 PM
  • aok heyhey - u know what i like .. gimme a rec ;)
    June 9 10:25 PM
  • Rev haha no worries dude. what have you been digging lately?
    June 9 05:49 PM
  • Rev ay dude do you have a facebook? or any social media aside from sputnik? i need to hit you up more but i'm not on here much anymore :/
    June 9 06:38 AM
  • kingsoby1 that ben frost is really good.
    May 16 06:42 PM
  • Jom Good luck and all the best! If you wind up taking a vacation from writing after that behemoth, I'm pretty sure we'd all understand.
    April 22 05:22 PM
  • TMobotron Hey check out my latest review if you get a chance, it's short (only 2 tracks) and track links are in the first comment. I can't get enough of the first track.
    April 22 05:58 AM
  • Deviant. Dude that album dragged like a mother for me. It seemed like the hungover aunt to their 1st album
    April 15 07:27 AM
  • Underflow Yeah man. I picked it up along with High Violet and Sunbather. Do you like either of those?
    March 24 11:02 PM
  • Underflow Found the purple edition at my local store today. Can't wait to jam to it.
    March 24 09:06 PM
  • OST Hey there, so sorry to bother you I just noticed you liked my last album (Invisible Ink For Sketching Ghosts by OST) so I wanted to send this your way - http://igg.me/at/OST2/x/6498610Best, Shane.
    March 11 06:52 AM
  • TMobotron ofc man no requirements! Sweet, downloading Nadler and War on Drugs now, will probably listen at work today.
    February 25 01:34 PM
  • TMobotron Hey clerc check out my review for the new Lucy album if you get time, it's something you might dig and it's streaming. Anything you think is essential from 2014 so far?
    February 24 01:32 AM
  • Brostep yeah, what.cd is down and no one has it on slsk so I got it in 320 for $7 at 7digital (fantastic online music download store btw) and I'm really enjoying it - it's the perfect mix of really nice cheese DnB and some more forward-thinking s***
    February 20 12:34 AM
  • Brostep after a few listens it's sitting at a solid 4.2 for me
    February 19 07:00 PM
    February 18 08:33 PM
  • Brostep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg2EnmUzqisthis sounds really cool actually
    February 18 03:27 PM
    February 18 10:49 AM
  • Brostep yeah dubfire is really cool
    February 12 09:22 PM
  • Brostep pretty sweet sample actually, should really listen to the producers' solo careers more.
    February 12 06:42 PM
  • Jom I am always available via e-mail and try to respond to everything within 1/2 to 1 business day (as long as 'my' business day doesn't involve a lot of travel!). You absolutely can still get feedback from anybody you'd like. If it's me, sweet. If not, I'm sure the people you pick are trustworthy. Cheers.
    February 12 05:30 PM
  • Typhoner gefeliciteerd ;-)
    February 12 03:50 PM
  • Tom93M Thanks Man :) You've given me plenty of positive feedback over time, it's appreciated
    February 12 03:29 PM
  • TMobotron I put a review up for the new Shackleton (to try to validate my promotion :) ). You're not required to view it of course (you're one of the few good ones who already had heard it) but I thought you might be interested!
    February 12 07:41 AM
  • aok what can i say, you're my favorite belgian who doesn't have a facebook and has an awesome name
    February 12 06:03 AM
  • Eloriaz Félicitations on the contrib man! ;)
    February 12 03:31 AM
  • dimsim3478 Congrats man!!!!
    February 11 10:32 PM
  • TMobotron Thanks man, you too, it's well-earned
    February 11 06:38 PM
  • GnarlyShillelagh thanks my dude, you too. Always been a fan of your writing, sometimes I would click one of your reviews and see your name and be like 'what he's only user?'
    February 11 06:37 PM
  • Yuli so glad u got the promo
    February 11 06:11 PM
  • Hyperion1001 thanks bro congrats to you as well
    February 11 05:34 PM
  • mindleviticus congrats buddy
    February 11 05:15 PM
  • aok congrats mayng. much deserved
    February 11 03:27 PM
  • Brostep Congrats on contrib! I was gonna say this earlier but forgot, so basically: there's a contrib facebook group but it's really not necessary to join. There's also a contrib forum which is barely used, but if you post there people will respond.
    February 11 02:48 PM
  • Electric City got the promo, and yeah it slays. Check Another Night and Different Days, they both came out as promos too
    February 8 02:35 PM
  • TMobotron Just submitted my application! I had one review I wanted to squeeze in before applying to make my numbers look slightly better lol. But yeah, would love to see Jaar live solo. I love what the tracks off Psychic evolved into live.
    February 2 02:48 AM
  • TMobotron GL on contrib dude, I hope you get it. Darkside was amazing BTW.
    February 1 09:34 AM
  • aok we were gonna chill irl someday rite? ;)
    January 27 09:42 PM
  • Hyperion1001 but thanks for posting that, it helped to clear my mind a bit i think.
    January 27 05:43 AM
  • Hyperion1001 i might change my mind, we'll see. its just i really love writing and even though i act like an idiot a lot on this site i want to continue writing things and trying to have discussions, it's just kind of discouraging sometimes that all it ever really boils down to is s***posting. there are people here who have legitimately pissed me off and i want to not let it bother me but it kind of does which i hate to admit.
    January 27 05:42 AM
  • RadicalEd To bad. Hope you have a lot of fun still. Last LP was amazing for sure, the new single is very promising as well, imo.
    January 11 03:16 PM
  • RadicalEd Very nice. You will not be in cologne by any chance? ;)
    January 10 11:07 AM
  • Yuli electronic music is becoming more and more my thing =] do you make any music, man?
    December 28 07:50 PM
  • Irving I don't believe I'm allowed to, to be honest, but basically we each rank 25 albums and each is assigned a certain amount of points based on their position. Tiebreakers are broken based on consensus (i.e an album with three staff votes beats one with only two). I can also tell you that we have several models of point distribution - some reward consensus, others reward high-ranking outliers; we decide which to use after all votes have been submitted :]
    December 21 09:26 PM
  • Jash http://midnightcityrecords.bandcamp.com/releases MCR003 is up now! Just wait for 004 mate... woiiiiiiiiiiii
    December 17 09:08 PM
  • TMobotron Hey I put a review up for Cold Mission, check it out if you're interested.
    December 17 05:39 AM
  • TMobotron That would be cool. Reminds me I need to listen to that again, I only spun it a couple times when it was released despite really digging it.
    December 14 07:22 PM
  • TMobotron That sounds cool, thanks! Probably seein them in January.
    December 14 07:10 PM
  • scissorlocked well, I'm still learning with slow pace, working mostly on ableton, ready to buy the standard equipment (midi, a proper sound card, etc ) and making dreams of purchasing overpriced synths! when the time is right, i'll definitely send you some stuff! as for the list, must have missed it as i'm not that frequent in Sputnik these days. I'll check it out though.
    December 14 04:39 PM
  • scissorlocked thanks man, I recently found that guy and was kinda hooked-up! so much stuff going on out there that I'm fully baffled with what to dig! How are you? any interesting discoveries that you could share?
    December 14 04:18 PM
    December 14 03:37 PM
  • Typhoner wil er iemand contrib worden?
    December 14 03:30 PM
  • TMobotron hey man, what was darkside like live? Was it mostly/entirely stuff from that project?
    December 14 12:53 AM
  • Deviant. Links to nothing dude
    December 12 10:43 AM
  • TMobotron Yeah I still haven't checked out the 1st two releases (I know, I need to!). I'll try to get on that soon. I definitely still dig the Kaiju one, if not to the same extent that others do.IDK what it is, I'm just partial to dubstep that's heavy on the reggae side, but I also love those rhythmic dancehall-influenced tracks. Kahn
    December 10 10:06 AM
  • TMobotron The other one meaning the Kaiju one?
    December 10 08:38 AM
  • TMobotron Okay it might just be more fitting to my tastes but the new Lion Charge (find it on nodata) is ****ing amazing. Loving Cold Mission BTW, very much a Night Slugs vibe.
    December 10 05:13 AM
  • Brostep if you haven't heard it yet check the new akkord album
    December 9 12:16 AM
  • Deviant. Nice. I shall raise you a: http://www.residentadvisor.net/podcast-episode.aspx?id=392
    December 2 03:07 AM
    November 29 03:18 PM
  • treeqt. looks like a definite check
    November 27 10:09 PM
  • treeqt. bout dat minimal life
    November 27 06:59 PM
  • TMobotron Thanks brother, stoked to give this a listen.
    November 25 03:52 AM
  • TMobotron Do you have a link to a download for that by any chance? I saw the review and thought it sounded right up my alley, but couldn't track it down online anywhere.
    November 24 01:25 PM
  • Sleaper yo man, did you ever get your hands on marcel dettmanns latest LP? s***s harder to find than the teenage mutant ninja turtles
    November 24 11:14 AM
    November 14 08:21 PM
  • Deviant. Hmmm, I'd honestly just go Phase
    November 14 10:24 AM
  • Pon lol i perfectly understand, extreme metal ain't for everyone
    November 11 04:00 PM
  • StrangerofSorts *holds finger to mouth* shhhhh...Yeah originally it didn't gel too well. I revisited it a couple of months ago and actually listened to it (which I hear helps if you want to like an album) and it obviously blew me over so much I forgot to change the rating.
    November 10 04:05 AM
  • Deviant. I think they'll always hold a candle for him because, y'know, DMZ and all that. But realistically, you can only defend someone for so long
    November 9 01:40 AM
  • scissorlocked no, but I'll do it soon! He's great indeed, the recent ep's were huge too, so I'm really expecting something pretty solid. I think I'll also get my hands on that new Laurel Halo album which seems lovely.
    November 7 04:40 PM
  • Jash Cheers mate, just wait for 004 and 005 got some big things lined up! Yeah there's nothing really on this site for me to come back to at all minus talk music with you and laugh at the angsty kids try and help each others woman problems. You hear the new Kaiju release? Hot fiyah!
    November 7 09:02 AM
  • Deviant. Yeah it's a definite improvement over his recent jams but the man still has a long waaaay to go. Just given what he's capable of putting out I'm always genuinely surprised at the choices he makes with his music
    November 7 07:28 AM
  • Jash https://soundcloud.com/deepdarkdungeondubstep/sets/intriket-lost-ep-4d-exclusive
    November 6 07:47 PM
  • Jom It's honestly not a big deal, seeing as how people will apply based on the strength of their resume and then disappear for weeks at a time (or just don't return at all). It wouldn't hurt if you're interested, but if not, I understand completely. Cheers.
    November 6 07:07 AM
  • Brostep Sweet, thanks
    November 5 07:13 PM
  • Brostep On an unrelated note, would you mind giving me some trip/glitch hop recs? Been jamming Bonobo's Black Sands hard recently (considering giving it a full 5/5 review someday) and I just discovered Nujabes and Prefuse 73. Thanks in advance!
    November 5 05:12 PM
  • Jom I don't think there's going to be much flexibility with that, since it is possible to plagiarize oneself, but it doesn't mean that you shouldn't apply next cycle. The issue is people trying to have their s***ty blog piggyback on our name, which is laughable since that's not really how SEO works.
    November 4 11:43 PM
  • Brostep Sweet, sounds good. Thanks!
    November 4 10:53 PM
  • Brostep Heard good things about both of them. Where do I start?
    November 4 10:19 PM
  • Brostep Sweet, thanks. Not a huge fan of super minimalist/repetitive stuff, so more melodic techno would probably be better
    November 4 10:06 PM
  • treeqt. he's amazing indeed. im digging drone logic quite a bit though. might very well be the best dance album of the year not counting the sandwell district/dj ez fabric mixes
    November 3 06:38 PM
  • treeqt. rutracker.orgbasically a poor man's what.cd. it's russian so you have to use chrome/a browser extension to translate it but it's pretty much the best free to sign up private tracker in the world right now.
    November 3 05:54 PM
  • Deviant. Nah, not at all. I'm kiwi and all, but not Maori. I just remember first seeing the logo and thinking "hey, that's interesting". Also, DELSIN COMP!!
    November 2 11:19 AM
  • Deviant. http://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=21645 - thought this was quite funny, given that I thought the same thing when they rolled out the first prints
    November 2 06:02 AM
  • Deviant. Speaking of comps: http://www.factmag.com/2013/10/30/tracklist-announced-for-delsins-landmark-100dsr-compilation-claro-intelecto-gerry-read-and-redshape-to-feature/
    November 1 02:52 AM
  • Deviant. Yeah it's fantastic, but as for comp of the year: http://www.factmag.com/2013/10/17/rs-records-celebrate-30-years-with-30-track-compilation/
    October 29 06:43 AM
  • Deviant. If you're still on your Punch Drunk kick, you'll be wanting this: http://nodata.tv/89452
    October 22 09:22 AM
  • TMobotron Awesome dude, DLing this now, thanks for the heads up. Their art is so cool IMO.
    October 15 12:48 AM
  • Jash Ehh I wouldn't say VIP because I hadn't fully released the tune prior to making the changes, glad you're diggin it though. That's awesome about Lion Charge 003, such a release! And yeah System003 is mental, still like the original of Over My Head/Asteroids better though :p
    October 13 03:49 PM
  • Deviant. Yeah, go for it
    October 13 08:01 AM
  • Yuli Hey man, any recent electronic recs for me? Havent found anything to top Jon Hopkins yet personally
    October 13 06:00 AM
    October 12 01:24 PM
  • Typhoner hoe? waar?
    October 12 01:12 PM
  • Jash Changed it a lot since that version, but the mastering is great too. The bossman from Iron Shirt Recordings mastered it for me, and for free too!
    October 12 03:49 AM
  • TMobotron yeah man I'm completely sold on TMSV. I'll check Rashad if I get time. I've never been much into Juke or Footwork but if I do listen to it, it's always Rashad.

    October 8 02:54 PM
  • Deviant. Got it, and approved!
    September 21 10:22 AM
  • Deviant. You had an artist pic sitting in the approval queue, and album art but no description. Do you wanna try it again and I'll see if it shows up?
    September 21 10:16 AM
  • Deviant. Was it just the artwork that needed fixing? And I'll check it out, cheers maaane
    September 21 10:04 AM
  • Jash https://soundcloud.com/intriket/lost This tune, Why, and my friend MAKZ's remix of Why are getting released for free when my soundcloud and facebook pages hit 300 followers/likes, spread the word ;)
    September 21 09:30 AM
  • Jash Saw that earlier, the Killawatt and Ipman version is sick but i'm not feeling the other one nearly as much so i'm probably gonna skip out on this one. I still need to track down a copy of 001 to buy on discogs
    September 19 01:13 AM
  • Jash Yeah 003 is going to be a multi-artist EP, 6 tunes. Already have a few wicked bits signed for it, just looking for a couple more tunes and finishing of my own.
    September 17 12:27 AM
  • Jash Cheers man! Really glad you're diggin it! Can't wait until my copy of Lion Charge 003 arrives :] Killawatt already posted a copy of 004 on his Facebook so i'm assuming it's either him and Ipman again or just himself. He was playing some new HUGE dubby tunes at Outlook I really hopes it's them
    September 16 05:58 AM
Darkside is mij eigenlijk totaal onbekend... Ach, zo veel muziek...
    September 14 08:38 PM
    September 14 08:41 AM
  • Typhoner mmm, Factory Floor is een goeie tip!
    September 13 07:57 PM
  • TMobotron Yeah I dig Rudeboi. IDK I'm all for minimalism but Unity Dub just seems to intentionally be holding back with no benefit. I do need to bump these a little louder though but it'll have to be later, too early in the AM here.
    September 13 01:52 PM
  • TMobotron I do think this RSD - Dancehall Days remix thing is ****in sick though, should be up there as well.
    September 13 01:37 PM
  • TMobotron Haha I literally just got done listening to this. I really love the dubbed out stuff like this, I can't decide what I think about these though.
    September 13 01:32 PM
  • twlight hey man thanks for rating my EP Different Waves, really appreciate it!
    September 12 07:04 PM
  • Typhoner "If you like synthy candyflossy melodies and always wondered what a baroque ice cream van over bongos sounds like, you?re insane, but you might like track 9 on my album."
    September 8 08:59 AM
  • Jash FWD tonight: Wayfarer b2b Kanjira, Biome, Truth, VIVEK. And it's Youngsta's bday so we're all gonna be feeding him shots all night hahaha Then its Fabric tomorrow night for N-Type b2b Hatcha, Distance, Plastician, Calyx and Teebee, DJ Hype and TC. Gonna be so dead after these nights, first train home is at 6am after both shows
    September 5 03:01 PM
  • iwasnvrurbf no prob dude
    September 4 07:38 PM
    September 3 06:17 PM
  • Aids oh shiii that's awesome. I kinda stopped paying attention to the scene, I probably need a refresher.
    September 3 03:05 AM
  • Brostep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RQ8DltZfQUhave you heard of Bart B More? pretty good new-school electro, and it's one of the best things to come off of Skrillex's label in a bit
    September 2 09:12 PM
  • Jash Yeah that's a wicked release, vinyl only too. I don't think he brought the System rig, that would've been epic. On my flight to Croatia I met MC Toast from the Minimal Monday show and he invited my lady and I to come to the studio for his and Youngsta's show on September 9th, I'm still losing my mind over it
    August 29 12:20 AM
  • Jash my thursday night at outlook: Thinking, Matt U, Biome, Author (Live Set), Phaeleh, Kryptic Minds, Youngsta, Killawatt, VIVEK, DJ MADD
    August 27 08:23 PM
  • Rev new Shigeto is awesome, one of my recent favorites. and i try to be on top of new stuff because i'm usually everyone's go to guy for new album recs lol. and yeah! I got the Nico remixes for RSD, spun em earlier actually lol. and I just don't have much of a taste for that classic sound, I find it dull :/
    August 27 08:39 AM
  • Rev I hope the Darkside album satiates my thirst for a new Nico Jaar album lol. I'm not too huge on Skull Disco either (if I'm thinking of the right label, I think I downloaded a popular comp from them. Just not big on that old dubstep sound really). and ooh i'll check it! i'm so behind on upcoming stuff lol
    August 27 08:33 AM
  • Rev I'm downloading Engravings right now. And part of me wants to check out the Darkside preview but part of me wants to wait for the full thing lol. Also this might be heresy but honestly really don't care for DMZ or really anything with that sound :/
    August 27 08:25 AM
  • Rev Yo dude! How you been? Btw got any sweet stuff you've been digging? I've been dry on new s*** lately
    August 27 08:18 AM
  • Jash I couldn't bring myself to buy anything, I looked at it a couple days ago though and there was some wicked deals. I'll be sure to give you the whole low down on Outlook when I get back!
    August 25 10:38 PM

    August 24 06:39 PM

    August 23 08:57 AM

  • Jash No it's going to be a Juno Download exclusive, just look it up on the site :]
    August 6 10:45 PM
  • Deviant. His stuff with Ipman? Yeah, I've really been digging that old skank flavor that they're putting (back) into dubstep. Just saw new Ipman leaked today as well - http://runderground.ru/ipman-persistent-dread-signal-motion-osmuk032-ep-2013/ - but I haven't had a chance to listen yet? How's that Forest Swords LP? Saw it up for download but I skipped over it at the time (without hearing it I was just relying on it being a Tri Angle release to tell me it was going to be good haha)
    August 6 03:39 AM
  • Jash Glad you're diggin the sounds man, if you ever want some promo's from me to write about a release just let me know!
    August 6 02:51 AM
  • Yuli Hey bud, I just wanted to tell you that your comment in one of Brostep's reviews meant a lot to me. I can't even recall which review it was (helpful, right?,) but you mentioned my reviewing skills with electronic music, and you gave me more confidence with what I've done in the genre thus far. I'm really appreciative of your kind words, and if I ever get over metal, I'll be sure to contribute more words to the music you bump =]
    August 2 11:33 PM
  • Brostep btw i'm taking a "break" of sorts from sput, i'll check my shoutbox every so often for the next month or so but i'm not checking any comment threads apart from the ones linked in mezz. do you have an fb btw?
    August 1 02:04 AM
  • Brostep haha i saw that about 2 weeks ago when spin got an interview with them. the link's here:http://www.spin.com/articles/daleri-epic-mashleg-interview/it's honestly an incredible mashup
