| Drifter Actually do you want to take part in a comp I'm putting together? You'd listen to 30 albums submitted 3 at a time from me and two other users and you'd have to rate them and write a description on them and submit it in a reasonable time. It's like the emo crown and post punk off comps from last year which you can find on my profile and ZombieToyDuck's. The conp's genre is g-funk. Only thing is, you have to be active and idk how much you are but at the least it's just submitting your sntnces/rate

| Drifter Hell yeah. G-Funk is my fav genre. That's awesome that D.O.C.'s debut is your fav, I've never seen that. His second album is also really cool. | deathofasalesman I'm not from Rhode Island, sorry. Other side of the country in SoCal. Someone I follow on Bandcamp bought the album "Days of Old" and gave it high praise so I checked it out. Phenomenal stuff.

| danielcardoso danny brown's record is pretty damn great. and regina spektor put out an amazing one too, if you're into some singer-songwriter indie pop, she's really good. massive attack's ep is incredible too, some of my fave releases this year so far.

 | PorkchopExpress Have you seen the Mobb Deep "White Cocaine" mixtape? They put it online right around the time of "Black Cocaine". Just Google it, and there's a handful of places you can stream/download it. It's good. Only issue is the DJ that mixed it has these loud, awful interruptions in it when the album says his name. But it's good and it's free.

I'm not going to them this time but it seems like a lot of your classic ratings are there simply because an album is 'influential'; I can't really think of another reason why you'd have so many different bands with multiple albums 5'd. If I were you I'd go through and lower some of those to 4.5s. I'm sure you're tired of getting reported but it's going to keep happening if you don't change some things.
