 | YetAnotherBrick Man it's this nice gritty and atmospheric hip-hop album with some of the best lyrics I've ever heard, no lie. They have a vocabulary like Deltron but not just for the sake of rhyming; everything actually makes sense. And the beats have this very subtle Eastern flavor. Just enough to be there but not enough to overpower anything. I would say the best songs to hear first would be the title track or "Sunwheel"

| Frippertronics take responsibility, unrelated got my copy of merzxiu from the kingfisher label and it had pretty dope letter from someone at the label who told me about his first experience with merzbow (was pulse demon, at a time when he was into braid and mineral), and had a drawing of the pulse demon cover. honestly, I can hear a lot more detail than on the copy I got on my computer.

 | hogan900 I did get a strong Weather Report and Soft Machine vibe from it, and I completely see where you are going. Maybe I'll have to listen to it more closely the 2nd time around, and yeah I guess my sound off was a little too vague.

| hogan900 My grandfather owned a large collection of 1950-1960's bebop and avant garde Jazz records and gave them to me when he died a few years ago. Though I haven't listened to most of them and don't really listen to it jazz as a lot, I do have a somewhat fair knowledge of bebop, especially Artists like Blakey, Parker, and Davis. Coltrane always stood out to be my favorite though, and related his sound on some of his records to that of Washington's.

| Frippertronics nice iggy pop and robert glasper ratings. rob does a damn good cover of Letter to Hermione on that album if I'm correct. The Iggy is probably his most underrated, but last really good album.

| Frippertronics for sure, plus where else am I gonna get some Boris and Midori on vinyl without paying some ridiculous price on discogs or pay overly expensive shipping. plus I hear Japan's pressing quality is the best you could possibly get.

I dig the culture and everything about, I mean Japan is one of the most prominent places in the world when it comes to technology, and I would be for going there in the future just for the hell of it, but people like that honestly make think differently. I don't understand how people can act like that and not be disgusted by it.

| Phlegm god yes, on my first listen now and it just sounds so concise! veers on cheesiness at points but the production really is on full focus. so cool to hear the dude that got me into electronic music in the first place continuing to grow and kill it

| Frippertronics steve hackett, genesis guitarist. his debut album that came out after the lamb but before a trick of the tail. a good bit of it was rejected by genesis, and is considered a lost genesis album by some fans. Has tons of guests, like Phil Collins, Sally Oldfield and bunch of prog ****ers

| Frippertronics of course yeah, but I really can't understand something I wasn't around for the first time, especially if i was far too young to even comprehend what it was. Whatever though, we could just come to the agreement that Xiu Xiu and Portishead is some good s***. Anything works for me.

| Frippertronics i believe his father died around that time or something, so I was aware of that going into this. As with any album, this will take a bit to get used to. It's nice, but some spots were a bit iffy to me. Definitely interested in going throughout everything Jamie and Xiu Xiu have done, the discog to me so far is consistent as hell.

| Frippertronics and considering I was like 5-8 years old when Xiu Xiu first came out that run of Knife Play - A Promise - Fabulous Muscles, I, as any other young kid who didn't give two s***s about music and liked video games, of course would have no clue as to what the effect these guys had in any way. That is far beyond my control.
