 | Monheim Oh yeah, mr. wolf would be a good choice. Or mr. gammarino, he was my creative writing teacher last year. He seems to like a lot of good bands (like, he picked up on the Brian Eno and Spiritualized references in my short stories). But yeah, I have no idea if either of them are involved in any other clubs.

| Monheim Oh man, I wish I could spend my summer working with cardiomyocytes. I mean, isolating individual cardiac muscle cells sounds like a pain, but still. Helping fight heart failure and all. Beats summer school.

 | BaselineOOO I rated For Emma Blah Blah Ago 3.0 after two listens, so I think it's good. When I listen to music I usually want to be surprised by new things, unexpected arrangements etc. And imo Bon Iver is just great at something that was done for so many times before. I rated the self title 1.0 just for fun lol, I haven't even heard the album, but I will listen to it eventually and change it's rating to a positive one. :P

 | Gyromania Oh no I could care less about being in the minority, I genuinely retract my previous statement. I just listened to the album last night and it was actually pretty enjoyable. At the time I had also rated The Avalanches' "Since I Left You" 2.5/5 and now I tell people it's my favorite album.

| Gyromania I was actually just re-reading that soundoff yesterday and I kind of cringed a little at how juvenile and aimless my criticisms were. My musical taste has developed a lot since writing that soundoff, so I'm definitely going to give it another chance in the near future, because I think I dismissed it a little too quickly.

 | couldwinarabbit Not a big post rock fan and it is one of my least favourite. Not that is a bad album, they are talented, but I'm not a huge fan. Thanks though yours are pretty solid too.

Anyway, Spokes really is reminiscent of Arcade Fire, just with more post-rock buildups and significantly less Win Butler. But I'm pretty much a total sucker for anything vaguely like Arcade Fire, so...
