 | Jots sup. you're still doing that musique concrete blog thing right...? any upcoming releases of that nature worth looking out for?
 | Jots update: nvm it isn't very good
 | Jots True. He sounds a lot more ... confident(?) on this than in Tomboy. I like it, though a lot of it sounds really bored/lazy. Some good jams though, and it's growing on me with each listen
 | Jots what do you think of the new Panda Bear album?
 | Phlegm oh nice i just found that list ^_^ thank U!
 | Phlegm hi Claud, what are your pc music essentials/favorites?
 | ShitsofRain hey claudio, it's me again asking for a favour. do you have this http://www.discogs.com/Various-How-To-Kill-002/release/5743349 and could upload it? i can't find it on slsk. if not, i have to buy it then i guess. thanks anyways
 | Phlegm WOW ok that sounds 100% phlegm certified! i'm gonna bleed that through slsk this instance, and i'll snag Sicko Mobb while i'm there {}_{} thanks claud you rock
 | Phlegm nah boss i haven't! what's it about? OH and how's that Sicko Mobb album? I heard good things about it last year but i never got around to eeeet - OH [2] and thanks for SILICA dude that thing is lushhhh, jumped straight up there to one of my favorite Ferraro projects :-)
 | Phlegm fuK ! yeah i haven't listened to much at all o_o i'll get onto what you rec'd me though cause I've been meaning to check out Bodyguard and Arca and that Teams alb looks appealing too SWEET thanks claudio you handsome thing :o x !!! lmao JK (JUST KIDDING DUDE) but seriously thanks !!!
 | Phlegm hi there! i was just wondering if you'd be able to recommend me anything similar to dpi's We All in The Matrix - can't get enough of that sickly screwed sound ^_^ gracias !
 | MisterTornado i havent but that sounds interesting, ill definitely listen to that. oh yeah i know of that label, although i have yet to hear anything on it. ill check that out too, always on the prowl for new uk electro s***
 | MisterTornado how are you doing / what have you been enjoying as of recent?
 | ethos early anco would have been a blast to watch, i'm so glad it was all recorded though - surprisingly enough like their first or so vid on youtube was in houston 01' which is when i moved to houston as a child from canada : ( aww IF ONLY MY PARENTS WERE COOLER
 | ethos that's awesome then! i hope you find some good stuff in there to enjoy - and yeah, i checked out one of big blood's albums.. which for some strange reason i already had?? wtf. enjoyed it but i gotta go back and i love animal collective so much for tons of different reasons but that specific childlike quality they hold in their musicianship is for sure the staple quality that's held above the rest, super interested in checking out the cherry blossoms now and the rest of big blood's discog
 | ethos OH, exit sense is your stuff! lol, i still haven't listened to it yet dude. it hasn't left my mind yet though, just have been working like crazy and want to find some serious alone time and right atmosphere to jump into it.. possibly reaaaal late at night tonight, i'm hyped
 | ethos aww i was hoping you hadn't heard of them yet cause there's only like 6 or so ratings for it :x oh well lol glad you enjoy them_! it's been in my library for quite a while, and idk i was always drawn to them but out of nowhere guide to nowhere (lol) has been hitting some kinda vibe perfectly lately. i think of it as a darker/edgier.. more sophisticated chill out by the KLF which i always appreciated but never loved (like this at least) oh and thank you for similar recs as always, claudiooo(ster)
 | ethos http://www.mediafire.com/download/megke7pkdj4m0be/niTE Nite.zip
 | GiaNXGX surprised to 'hear' you haven't commented on this yet rateyourmusic.com/admin/queue/hq/profile_details?id=34299
 | ethos sweeeeeet! wow your links are ???? /// /??? ?? ? ? ? i'll have some fun with it :^ )
 | ethos and thanks, i'll look into them. oh, are you talking about this: http://sujico.bandcamp.com/album/cherry-blossom-oblivion?? or the actual 'the cherry blossoms' cause gian linked me to that bandcamp a few weeks back and i've only heard one song because i wanna really have the time to listen but i enjoyed it a lot so far. is that link your music?
 | ethos anything, please! whatever you feel as though would interest - - i rarely ask for recs (just jump around sputnik/rym myself) but idk i feel as though from what i've seen we hit a lot in similar places, i've discovered so much happiness through your page :" )
 | ethos would you mind recommending me music whenever you get the chance?
 | ethos nah, it's just mainly offset uploads. it's cool though, i'll get around to it somehow or just hold off until someone decides to share
 | ethos do you know where i can find pali meursault's un zero deux?? offset was something else, cycle #4 and onward completely floored me
 | Winesburgohio dumb that yr 'improvised conduction' genre add got voted down :(
 | GiaNXGX what do you think of "north caribbean music" as a descriptor? initially i actually thought puerto rican music would suffice, very unaccurate however..
 | ethos why a 2 on trux's cats and dogs?
 | GiaNXGX silly and precarious, i wish i had real life friends with whom to enjoy power electronics and/or drone, and cherish luscious violence as well as purposeful monotony in thee car.
 | Winesburgohio oh ok, sorry dude! that place is a cesspit, why would anyone care what other people like? OUTRAGEOUS
 | Winesburgohio I concur! Also wait so you didn't write that? I'm confused i feel out of the loop
 | Ok, Thanks. I will be looking through some of your ratings as well as your electroacoustic music list. Cheers!
 | Hi, iscarabaid. Correct me if I am wrong, but I remember you had a huge list of your favorite avant-garde albums, ranging from japanoise bands to some experimental classical music. What happened to that list? I can't seem to get a hold of it. Either you erased it or I am making a mistake and it was a list from another user.
 | Winesburgohio 1. THERE ARE CLUBS THAT SPECIALISE IN MINIMAL TECHNO ETC. and they are A but they charge quite a lot on the door whereas most other clubs are free :( 2. I respect you and your music taste lots / think you're a cool dude / i've learnt lots about music from you and I APPRECIATE THAT BOUNDLESSLY but to say i 'hero-worship' you seems a bit mean :((((
 | GiaNXGX i dont even know what 'introvert' music is anyways, maybe thats just me the one who is introvert / nurture the veew.bmp
 | GiaNXGX Does Basic Channel make you dance? like, please teach me how to!! how theres a certain chain-exclusive-reaction club in FL where people like to jest, oxy, and chill out to the pulsations and repress down on heavenly curtains.. umm well it doesn't make sense to me at all, to me minimal techno/dub with its drawn out rhythms and swoon structure feels introspective as opposed to extrovert music.
 | GiaNXGX know we feel kinda mean at that, but he's a cool guy and we talk sometimes, it's just in my nature to formulate inter-relations between internet things and taste. taste has become too tangible by now, if and when the internet gets temporarily shut down by a solar flare, people all over the world wont be able to do the habitual check out of Warhol.fm
 | GiaNXGX yes i can remember, that blog post was some ridiculous nonsense which i can recall a cookie brand elitism or something. indeed ironic that tyler brang all the flacid bulls*** upon himself and now non-ironically runs away from it, and i see for when he tries to innovate his belongings by dissociating the drone image all he does is get stuck once again, and now he's reviewing (quite good at it though, fancy vocabulary / docperkins dialectic) to put a cherry on top of his nuisance.
 | GiaNXGX to display; model a) carbonado, model b) miaow/armykat (people who in interacting with other customarily coherent users understood the miserability of their existence in the site and/or left the copying taste voyeur for good), model c) idk karl or tyler? grown over and idk idk man. so did you just got tired of it? I for once find Richard's taste good but it's not essentially "my" taste, like as in to pick is not to steal, and figuratively as in run not or to don't walk.
 | GiaNXGX don't assume you conform the norm, seen from the glasses of my acquaintance ( that is to say what i can gather, and our friendship) you're more-of a fabulous folkaway-fado-mod.classical-onkyo connoiseur.. and i admire you, your unique personality, meta sense of humor and artistic persona(s).
 | GiaNXGX to clarify; why do people all over /mu/ and somewhere here and there on ryms-kount seem to think you're an "avant-teen?' (aren't you like 20? Lol). Furthermore and if so, I would think the aesthetic can be defined as an umbrella term of sorts for richard clones and/or people's whose taste resplies irrationally to their hidden insecurities. rymers facade ~
 | Havey oh you didn't have to use it, just have it there for others to look at ^-^ t'was an impressive library for sure
 | Havey why'd you del-ete (or hide? if that's even possible) your last.fm ;_;
 | Winesburgohio I think Science has a tendency to pathologise and delineate 'unwellness' to personal idiosyncrasies, so that even slightly-exacerbated expressions of something that we all essential do becomes not an action but a disease, a complex, something to be solved. In short don't even worry 'bout yo tick son Tourette's or not you're still a top-notch bro
 | Winesburgohio And I CONCUR i think so much of what we take as dichotomies are actually (like we now know about Autism) spectrums that everyone places on. I'm very suspicious of Science as an ideology for this reason, not in a 'garb-myself-in-a-tinfoil-hat conspiracy-theory' way but rather the Foucault acolyte way - i think a) if you accept conditions not as binary but as spectrum then the conditions that are set for it becoming 'debilitating' or even 'intrusive' are rendered arbitrary and b)
 | Winesburgohio genre fit like a slightly too large but still functional glove - it is a genre i have a lot to learn about though. OH and vis-a-vis Terry Fox hmm, i think musique concrete comes closest (maybe) but honestly i'd have no idea what to call it. Drone? Field Recordings? Ambient? I've toyed with them and nothing quite captures it
 | Winesburgohio yeah definitely, they're pretty beguiling albums (and sorry for voting you down but i shared your reservations with it being an inaccurate descriptor)! i definitely think that Electroacoustic works as a secondary genre but it's just, like, misleading as a primary one. Also, i see that u voted down Sound Poetry (NO HARD FEELINGS) - i guess i figured that 'tics', or vocal utterances, are so crucial in the albums composition (and, although admittedly to a lesser extent, its execution) that the
 | Winesburgohio Automatic Writing is so wonderful! Pursuant: I just finished a book called Motherless Brooklyn (Lethem, who i can usually take or leave BUT) whose protagonist is afflicted with Tourettes and it was a really good read (lets the author do some great stuff with language, sometimes playful sometimes experimental sometimes poignant), might be up your alley? xx
 | YetAnotherBrick it's gonna take a while for me to forgive you for taking down that 'essential avant-garde' list, man
 | ethos oh, and they're actually animal collective's influences. if you click on a link (it's weird because the links wouldn't open for me, i had to right click and view in a new tab) you can get like quotes from some of the members on like every other influence about their thoughts on said artist or movie.
 | ethos we need more articles like that these days!
 | ethos yeah, it's incredible learning about their influences and linking stuff together huh?? lot's of it i already knew about but about a third of it i'm going through and discovering, and it's been a lot of fun considering they're my favorite band at the moment. figured someone like you would really enjoy reading through it : )
 | ethos have you seen this? http://www.spin.com/articles/the-animal-collective-centipedia/
 | ethos yeah, it sucks doesn't it? i tried it earlier as well. and WORLD OF ECHO blew MY [[mind]] it's so incredible :]
 | ethos eternally grateful, claudio. thanks for writing that review out and showing such passion on this site for music, it significantly changed my life in a lot of ways.
 | ethos hopefully one day we'll meet?? LOL ok, that sounds creepy but for real you've really broadened my mind/enjoyment in music and now i view it in a completely different perspective but still such a positive way. i remember telling you about a year ago that you ruled just off of reading your panda bear review (which is still my favorite on this site) and you replied in gratitude.. but commented on how your taste has changed drastically since then. now i understand (partly) how/why!

 | Winesburgohio woah what happened to yr avant-garde list? i remember poring over it in great detail. is the time ripe for and one? (the answer is: yes; affirmative)
 | somnolence http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/GettingHealthy/PhysicalActivity/StartWalking/The-Price-of-Inactivity_UCM_307974_Article.jsp#mainContent
 | GiaNXGX thank you so much man xoxo :*. tbh i've been meaning to initiate a discussion on 'THE NOISE' with you, a short summary would be appreciated. so what's so great about it? intensity (thousandfold better live), diversity, immersiveness, range?? To me it just looks like, on the simplest basis, Hijokaidan's answer to Akita's Merzzbox. 30 hours of Hijokaidan however... somewhat seems to be a flamingly ridiculous endeavour that even the most seasoned noizheads on ihatemusic noquam would runaway from.
 | ethixx oh and no big deal on not replying right away lol that would be the last thing which would offend me
 | ethixx pretty interesting, i kinda rate the same way. nice to hear that for a change! please don't sing a rainy night in georgia does nothing for you? aww :(
 | GiaNXGX nevermind you already had it posted, stupid me.
 | GiaNXGX oh, because i wanted you to add me Weites Land, Tiefe Zeit: Raume 1-8 to your blogspot. does doing a favor makes one a generous person? not nescesarily so, but idk you've always given me that impression, maybe it's something i just cannot explain with words
 | GiaNXGX as in liberality of giving or willingness to give
 | ethixx lol why are the twa toots awful
 | GiaNXGX do you consider yourself a generous person
 | Winesburgohio believe in urself and it shall be so 8). Anyway ty and superb author, one of my preferred (contemporary) ones easily.
 | GiaNXGX the hell happened to your essential avant-garde list bud?? it was a tad generic of course but that doesn't mean anything, this isn't rym
 | GiaNXGX Hmmm, our tastes are similar, hmmmm.
 | CK Oh boy do I hate the fact that some of your low rated albums are low rated lol
 | ethixx thanks so much, i guess i'm just bad at finding links LOL i swear i spent over an hour looking for it specifically
 | ethixx thanks for the recommendation of soulseek, im using it and love it! but i still couldn't find im ****ing you tonight... : ( i can't even purchase it anywhere, could you send it my way or show me where you got it? i really wanna check it out and his bandcamp is like virtually non existent now
 | ethixx hey, i wanna listen to heat wave's im ****ing you tonight but i can't find it ANYWHERE (to purchase or to rip) do you know where you got yours from?
 | Ethics Your reviews and taste in music are awesome.
 | aok sweet profile pic yo
 | Chrisjon89 hey man, just wanted to say thanks for recommending Pharoah Sanders - Karma. It's amazing and a totally different vibe to the other jazz I've got. Not what I expected.
 | Bitchfork oh i almost forgot about sputnik you know.
 | tkxxx7 keep your bitch off my fork
 | Bitchfork Yes you like rudimentary peni yesyes
 | Jruined Sent out your prints today. Sorry about the delay, my sister-in-law shot my niece out of her birth canal and the weeks' plans went through a woodchipper.
 | Bitchfork http://www.ariama.com/works/regards-20-sur-lenfant-jesus-for-piano-i-27-(olivier-messiaen)
idk
 | Bitchfork That's another good modern classical one.
 | Bitchfork Have you listened to Steven Osborne's rendition of Olivier Messiaen's Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant Jesus? Or any of the many renditions of those pieces?
 | Bitchfork But Hardangervidda is pure ambient/classical.
 | Bitchfork Hardangervidda is his most famous ambient album but there are ambient elements on many of his works.
 | Bitchfork Your rating for Forest Poetry is too low my darling.
 | Bitchfork I liked the way the samples were used but the opening half-silences were kinda obnoxious at points and the crescendos made all of it kinda predictable and the first track was unnecessary.
 | Bitchfork You're listening to it out of order. Check the tracklisting on my latest list. The mediafire ****ed it up so if you download it it comes up as a different order for every person.
 | plane hmm i like your style kid
 | qwe3 dude the jane doe/mpp album cover you did rules
