  • skippingboy123 -Beck- Look up "Loser", then buy Odelay, even though it doesn't have the song "Loser", its a great album. It's plain awesome. "Where It's At" is on Odelay.-The Decemberists- just got into them. Really cool and mellow. I like "July July"-Rotary Downs- you'll be able to find a couple of their songs on youtube. If you want to buy one of their cds, you'll have to buy it on Amazon. Its just that indie. Make sure to look up "Sing Like the Sun" by Rotary Downs. Start out with "Chained to the Chariot"

  • skippingboy123 -Indie-(my main music along with 90s alternative, classic rock, and the beatles)-The Shins-look up "New Slang" you'll probaly love the song, then "Caring is Creepy" and then buy "Oh, Inverted World" along with "Chutes Too Narrow" and "Wincing the Night Away"-Broken Bells- indie band with the singer from the Shins. They only have one album out right now. Look up "The High Road" by Broken bells and then listen to their other songs.

  • Willie Then focus on the album, but you still require a bit more substance. For example, why is the opening track one of the best intros you've heard. I know that you think that, but I don't know why...

  • Willie Read this, these are the guidelines that Jom posted: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/forums/showpost.php?p=15139925

  • Willie You'll have to do a lot more with that review before it gets approved. You need to actually talk about the album using more solid terms than "Amazing" "great" and a minimal play-by-play.

    October 10 12:00 AM
  • Baphomet Any time, man! While you're at it you might also want to check out Travels by Defeater... it's got some indie-ish moments, but it melds pretty well. The best hardcore album I've heard this year.
    October 8 08:41 PM
  • accompliceofmydeath You should check out Cruel Hand.
    October 8 04:36 PM
  • accompliceofmydeath I don't think so. I found it at my local used record store. It's hard to find good hardcore bands at best buy. Do you have a hot topic near you?
    October 8 04:24 PM
  • accompliceofmydeath I don't think that's the same band. Here's a link to listen to one of their albums: ://www.last.fm/music/Cold World/Dedicated To Babies Who Came Feet First
    October 8 03:50 PM
  • accompliceofmydeath No prob, dude. I'm going to rec you listen to Cold World. They are a hardcore band that incorporate some hip-hop and metal elements. It's not like rapcore though. It's hard to describe. Just check 'em out.
    October 8 08:09 AM
  • Masochist No problem! Glad to be able to gain another possible BR fan.
    October 7 03:28 PM
  • YouAreMySilence A 5 too, nice man. Incredible eh?
    October 4 07:25 PM
  • YouAreMySilence Acually there is a standard clause for all new friends. You must give Matthew Good's new record a listen and give it (atleast) a 4.5.
