 | Knott- Yah, for the next issue I'm laying out a proper grid and starting the masters from scratch, 'cause I'm obviously aware of the design inconsistencies. Using InDesign, obv. You obv. know what you're talking about slightly here - any particular reeeeeeason?
 | Knott- Cheers for the heads up on that! I knew something in that vein had to exist, I just have to export the .pdf slightly differently later so that it reads as it's supposed to. Great idea though. Any other thoughts on the issue? Glad you liked it.

 | bailar12 enrique shall attempt it. it will be epic. though enrique photos generally are more powerful in s***ty band thread like attack attack, dot dot curve, etc
 | BigHans Yeah man I saw them at First Ave with the Drive By Truckers and I was pretty much ready to die afterwards, I was so happy.
 | BigHans Dude if you're from the Twin Cities you best love the Hold Steady.

 | Vooligan 1. DLC's album is streaming now on the myspace. ****ing listen to it. 2. Check out Jericco (heavy prog with a middle eastern edge), Twelve Foot Ninja (heavy rock/dub - faith no moreish), Engine Three Seven (Heavy roots rock prog thingy), Sydonia (Opeth mixed with Karnivool at some points), Sleep Parade (Porcupine Tree minus the boring bits), .hinge (Art Rock with very unique vocals), A State Of Flux (Industrial influenced prog with female vocals), Breaking Orbit (Sample filled heavy prog rock)

 | PirateSquid Intelligence?
On my internet?
Say it ain't so, pa
 | Blindsided Yeah Circa with Coheed should be great. There is actually a lot of good s*** coming to the Varsity, most of it indie/folk so if you are into it you should check that stuff out.
 | Blindsided Well Manchester is at the Varsity but Thrice isn't on those dates; it's like Billy Clyro and some other bands.
 | Blindsided Umm Manchester Orchestra on the 21st and then I was supposed to go to Coheed but my girlfriends graduation some****inghow fell on the same day as that concert so I can't anymore but it's actually the 13th not 18th.
 | Enotron Aw, that sucks. I wonder if the mods d it or if Iare did.
 | Blindsided I grew up like 30 minutes west of Saint Cloud in Freeport but now I live in Saint Paul. My girl goes to the U actually. Any good shows on your calendar this year?
 | Deviant. Hey man, you wouldn't happen to have a link for the new Story Of The Year would ya?
 | Waior YWAM Tijuana, whitest Mexican there is.

 | Waior I feel the need not to spam up the Haiti thread, but 123 to everything you said brah
 | somberlain I'll have the Light This City review up Jan 19 which is when their debut album is re-released. nice to see someone else likes this band
 | Foxhound Ah I almost put On Letting Go but I forgot.
 | ThePalestMexican Thank you so much, this sounds perfect. It has good quality, and it gives us the breathing room we like. Thanks a ton man, I don't know when I'll have stuff up, but I'll let you know so you can tell us what you think.
 | PinkBlackberry Word man,Some serious Gateway albums for me, and I could give a **** what half the people say about them on this site, I Still highly enjoy them =)
 | thansk for the welcome friend. i have a bong packed at this very moment ahahhaaha. and thank you i will check out this band
 | Knott- It should be noted in case it wasn't obvious that Area 15 (now called just Area, I believe) have no connection whatsoever to The Blackout and I'm told they didn't know they existed until they heard a song I'm told they wrote huge parts of being played by a band they'd never met.
 | Knott- well, dunno why you'd have heard it but take a look at this local (doncaster) band's live set from ages ago ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s2E7EV5tI8
 | fromtheinside ha, just saw your post. but nah i was until i got into studio and after i lost my social life i had to change majors. still i know what you're going through.
 | kbikowski hey, I've just uploaded Audrey's EP. send me your email address if you want to download.
 | Progmaster85 yeah i've heard fusions from mongraine but thats it
 | Progmaster85 yeah rylynn is one of my faves, I like his work a lot, but I thought the CD he did with Don ross was just incredible.
 | YouAreMySilence Thanks brofo, all my friends think it's creepy. I tell 'em it's the name of a record but it doesn't help haha.
And I need it for .zip file though, the .rar program doesn't want to work for my comp which sucks because you can get basically everything for .rar :(.
 | YouAreMySilence Yah if you could send I link I would be eternally gratefull.
come-now-sleep@hotmail.com
 | YouAreMySilence Hey man, I lost my copy of the Amia Verena Landscape ep :/.
Is there anyway you could send it to me for zip file?
 | Motiv3 haha if i wasnt ill i probably would have listened to it about 20 times xD at first i wasnt sure if it was a 5 cos of fossil but by the 3rd listen it really grew on me so it was easy, it tops colors in every way and i had that at a 5 (i dropped it to 4.5 now ).
 | Motiv3 who wants to bet foxxy really has this at a 3.5-4? :P
 | accompliceofmydeath I've never heard that about Varsity before. Damn, that sucks that you'll be out of town. I'm going to see Hit the Lights tomorrow at the Triple Rock.
 | EasternLight yes i do agree it is rather high, may bump it down a notch or two. But yeah it was on drok. It was hilarious, no one knew it except the hardcore fans. insane.
Well thrice...i dont not like anything from them really. Vheissu is one of my two classic albums. Artist in the... used to be a 5. Beggars is damn good though.
 | accompliceofmydeath I haven't made it to epic yet. I was going to see Every Time I Die there but, I didn't go for some reason. I might go see Maylene and the Sons of Disaster there on Halloween though. Have you been to the Varsity Theater?
 | EasternLight my goodness it was fantastic. they played self pity. best concert ever.
and yeah, just got thrice finally, where was I?
 | Baphomet Well, since you're into mathcore some SikTh, The End and Botch won't hurt. And hell yes, SW is one amazing album!!!! Give the latest album a try too, it's less death-ish but much more proggier.
 | WhiteWallStargazers Trenches is interesting. I havn't given the cd a ton of listen, but its pretty good for that style. Do you like it?
 | Baphomet yeah, I feel the same way about Midheaven, but it's still somewhat enjoyable. Ire Works is the right choice to start with DEP for any prog fan (as I'm guessing you are), since the earlier ones are more like messy mathcore. Try listening to Milk Lizard first, it's the catchier song in Ire Works.
 | jrowa001 theyre not the most inventive metalcore band but theyre pretty good imo. vocals are solid and they dont just play boring chuggs over and over. i recommend them but i wont guarantee anything
 | Baphomet I'm looking forward to the great misdirect too, but I'm still sceptical on whether they can top Colors... while wating you should get The Human Abstract, The Dillinger Escape Plan and maybe some Cynic; pretty shure you'll like 'em.
 | BSX Yes, the slide in Demons is awesomesauce. Thanks for the rec I'll check them out. ^_^
 | BSX The only metal I recently got into is Darkest Hour. It was at FYE, I think it was the special edition, but the regular version was like $3 cheaper. I'll just save up my money to get it.
 | Baphomet Hey, any friend of BTBAM is a friend of mine.
 | BSX LOL people say I need moar metal too. I was actually going to buy Morning View yesterday, but all the copies were $15 so I didn't buy it.
 | BSX 3 for being cool
 | WhiteWallStargazers Seen em all like 4 plus times haha...every metal show in MN always includes Emiliana, Venia, Charis and Write this Down...
 | WhiteWallStargazers I have no idea man, its got a pretty good metal scene but all the big name bands tend to skip it on their tours except for bands like Burden of a Day and such who always are up here
 | WhiteWallStargazers Not really, just the shows that I worked when I worked at the Garage (a venue in Burnsville) this summer....I also went to Cornerstone Fest but thats in Illinois haha how bout you?
