  • Mongi123 Cool cool much love
    July 13 07:47 PM
  • Mort. no worries and maybe just clarify that you feel overexposed to her and its not that you dont want her to be exposed to more ppl cos thats what american flag ash seems to misunderstand
    July 13 06:47 PM
  • Mort. damn dude, i guess dont say you feel overexposed to phoebe bridgers in the phoebe bridgers thread? absolutely baffled as to how youre getting this reaction lol
    July 13 06:41 PM
  • Observer Great find on Trudge. Havent listened to much 2022 electronic that ive enjoyed like this
    June 11 08:40 PM
  • Sowing I'm anticipating them both, hoping they'll bolster 2022's pop resume. Let's Eat Grandma's previous album was incredible so my expectations are high. Nice to hear from you once again! Hope all is well.
    April 2 02:38 AM
  • Trifolium Yes, my eye fell on that one immediately. Will check!
    December 21 08:53 AM
  • Ryus havent spent too much time with it but i wasnt as into it as loops. it was solid though, he rarely disappoints
    December 19 07:50 PM
  • alamo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vR4acEzT_UI
    December 7 07:57 PM
  • Atari figured it might be a longshot haha.. I've been good and doing the best I can in this crazy world. hope the same for you and glad to see you around here a bit more lately
    October 13 03:39 PM
  • Atari not sure if you'll care or not but the new Natalie Hemby dropped and it's quite nice. has a bit more variety and attitude than Puxico.. though that one holds a special place in my heart so not necessarily saying it's better ;)
    October 11 03:15 PM
  • Sowing Hell yea, thanks for the rec.
    October 8 07:37 AM
  • Atari good lord that Injury Reserve was worth the hype
    September 24 06:26 PM
  • theBoneyKing Ah I see, I guess I may give it a watch then.
    June 19 11:03 AM
  • theBoneyKing Is the Bo Burnham album actually worth a listen from me? Also hey!
    June 17 10:12 AM
  • Atari Right on, I?ll check it out pretty soon! Miss sharing the occasional rec :)
    March 17 07:06 PM
  • Atari Thought u made a list about turntable. Thinking about joining! Are you using the mobile turntable.org or the original turntable.fm? Apparently there are 2 versions now..
    March 13 06:50 PM
  • Sowing I refrained from rating it out of fairness because I only listened once. It was "nice" and that's all I remember about it unfortunately, but it was nice is a way that seemed so unadventerous. Everyone keeps telling me I'm wrong though so I probably just need to give it another chance. Maybe I was just in the wrong kind of mood for it that day.
    March 5 09:30 PM
  • Observer Sure you've heard of james holden, but ever given his Balance 005 mix a shot?
    February 6 10:22 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts LOL I'm working on it. Likewise, ftr ;)
    December 27 04:31 AM
  • Observer Happy holidays, friend. Saw you rated that DJ Metatron album today, and I just stumbled onto it myself. I dig, really calming on the nerves.
    December 26 10:33 PM
  • rellik009 Hello matey
    November 30 08:55 PM
  • Bedex i only just now clicked that your pic is todd terje (also come back)
    November 25 10:57 PM
  • Zeneren Oh yeah digging this HVL! Hope you?ve been well
    August 2 01:13 PM
  • robertsona I started it and didn?t like the first song but then it started growing. And then the second was cool enough that I?ll def finish at some point, thank you for the rec!
    July 24 10:22 PM
  • Trifolium Oh yeah that's a grreeaat one luci! Especially the second half was incredible. Or it could be that I was more in the mood when I went for the second half. Anyway, this was really nice, thanks for the rec!
    July 15 08:59 AM
  • Trifolium Hi luci! No I didn't, that looks incredibly interesting. Will jam asap! You must have smelled that I was just now looking for some nice, minimal techno-y goodness because I was!
    July 14 12:22 PM
  • Gyromania Is that a bit from Vesuvius in there? Lol at this being a B-side. Song is incredible yeah
    July 13 09:25 AM
  • Gyromania Wait... It's possible I was thinking of 'America'. Is My Rajneesh not on the album?
    July 13 09:10 AM
  • Gyromania Soty from Sufjan eh?! I saw some people on here saying it was mediocre and figured I'd wait to see how it fit into the album, but maybe I'll give it a go now
    July 13 09:03 AM
  • Sowing wow that is stunning. it's like a slightly lusher version of V and I'm digging it.
    July 12 12:16 PM
  • Sowing Well if it sounds like V then I'm definitely on it!
    July 11 08:38 PM
  • Sowing Ehh. I'm trying to come around to it lol. A little too Age-of-Adzy for me, which is one of my least favorite works of his. I have really come around to America, which is a little more focused.
    July 10 05:31 PM
  • Atari of course now it gets a review lmao. yeah it's not my typical thing but was immediately hooked from the opening track. that was one of my favorite songs, something about it reminds me of the kind of 90s pop/r
    July 6 04:43 PM
  • Atari surprised that Jessie Ware doesn't have a review yet. listening now and it's lovely!
    July 6 03:17 PM
  • Gyromania Good rec as per. Gotta hear it again but first spin was beautiful. Also nice What's Your Pleasure rating. Album is a near masterpiece imo. Got around to Tangram too which is an aoty contender for me atm
    July 2 01:25 PM
  • Sowing what I checked sounds amazing but I really struggle with music when I don't speak the language of the lyrics...we'll see!
    June 27 06:28 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Dear loooooord
    June 25 04:30 AM
  • Gyromania Flood is incredible. Played it like 8 times today. Gonna check the album
    June 22 09:13 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Hmm it's not on spotify? I'll look for it online
    June 21 11:47 PM
  • Yotimi Man that's a lot to digest but I'm enjoying. Good stuff to get me through the work day
    June 9 01:41 PM
  • Bedex that bass line is stuck in my head and I'm not even mad
    May 28 08:00 PM
  • Bedex That DJ Central - Li'ud record is a babe, I think I got it from one of your lists so cheers for that
    May 28 06:35 PM
  • Yotimi You ever listen to Dettinger? His whole discography is great. Blond 2 is one of the most beautiful things ever
    May 20 11:55 PM
  • Atari should have known Fiona Apple would be your first 2020 rating :3 hope you've been doing ok!
    April 28 02:17 PM
  • Sowing Oh I didn't think much of it, just thought you would. Seemed like the kind of upbeat pop you might appreciate. Ellis might be more your speed, but if you're being ultra selective, then there are better albums (like Fiona Apple!!!) to spend your time on. I'm doing well so far in quarantine, and hope you are as well :-)
    April 17 11:07 PM
  • Sowing ok check ellis - born again. it's like a clairo/hatchie hybrid
    April 4 01:09 AM
  • Sowing you'll love the new dua lipa...(i think and humbly suggest)
    March 28 02:58 PM
  • Atari :3
    March 3 03:25 PM
  • Atari you jamming 2020 albums yet? still hopeful you'll like the new Nadia Reid singles
    March 2 04:20 PM
  • Observer Yeah. I have no idea what I think of it. Very unique. Gonna be a challenge to absorb it.
    March 1 10:05 PM
  • Observer DJ Roswell - None of this is real (2014). Massive, and free bandcamp. Floored me.
    February 29 06:28 AM
  • Gyromania K cool
    February 25 10:07 PM
  • Gyromania Kinda sucks, haven't been able to catch up in ages lol
    February 22 06:32 PM
  • Gyromania Not using Facebook anymore?
    February 22 12:50 AM
  • Chortles new Fennec album out! more of the same in the best way: energetic, no frills house with fantastic production
    February 3 04:00 PM
  • Sowing You check out the new Ethan Gruska? Folk with a very poppy sheen, seems right up your alley.
    January 29 07:44 PM
  • Chortles looots of bops on that album but admittedly I haven't finished the whole thing yet lol
    January 28 08:15 PM
  • Chortles yes! so good right? big oversight on that album in 2018. that song in particular strikes me as what AL-90 could sound like if it lifted that mysterious haze around it and just went for those upbeat feel good vibes
    January 21 03:19 PM
  • Observer Nice. That's the one im digging the most so far, but havent delved into the others much
    January 16 02:45 PM
  • Observer Drexciya's journey of the deep sea dweller series, if you havent heard them yet
    January 15 06:00 PM
  • Chortles sounds lovely! don't see it on spotify and i'm out a computer at the moment, so i'll put it on hold until i can download again. also.... i hate to be so predictable but i'm kind of obsessed with the djrum now. found it pretty overwhelming at first but now it's taking over my life. 'Sex' is incredible
    January 14 06:56 PM
  • Bedex fantastic, thanks a bunch dude! I'll be jamming all these pretty soon
    January 10 05:51 PM
  • Bedex Feels like that discog is going to be a nightmare to navigate heh, what aliases of his do you think I should check out? And yeah severe lack of attention for Wanderwelle - as with most electronica on here tbf
    January 10 03:11 PM
  • Bedex oh dude I love that album, sadly I jammed it before I started rating on sput again so no soundoff but I enjoyed it a lot! And Gathering of the Ancient Spirits too. I'll drop a rating next time I give them a spin
    January 10 02:56 PM
  • Bedex Yeah Wolfe rec'd me 8 so I figured might as well check out the whole thing! Incidentally, do you know if Smoke Machine and This Is Not are just compilations of other EPs or mixtapes or actual albums? I usually don't do compilations when I go through a discog but sputnik can be weird sometimes and ppl upload legitimate LPs as compils
    January 10 02:43 PM
  • Observer Nice, hope you like it. Strikingly danceable, but really makes for a well sequenced listen.
    January 4 07:40 PM
  • Observer I'm sure you've heard of Clark, but in case you haven't, Body Riddle and the self-titled are superb albums.
    January 4 06:59 PM
  • Observer Thank you, throwing it on now. Any random recs you got, send them my way. Ive been spending a lot of the last couple weeks with decade readying stuff so i could use more new tunes. Ill let you know on this one.
    January 3 05:08 AM
  • Chortles echo earth is the stuff, nice! the djrum album is much more elusive to me though. it's intriguing but i can't crack it
    January 2 09:51 PM
  • Yotimi awesome, glad you liked it
    December 27 03:51 AM
  • Chortles two of your elusive 3.5's for those records! they both seem very up your alley but oh well. i've heard a bit of dj rum but not that one, any reference to dj sports gets me excited though. i really love that sound and need moreeeee. dj sports LP2 when??
    December 26 06:32 PM
  • Sowing Haha yes my soundoffs and reviews will prove quite useless now.
    December 23 02:43 PM
  • Yotimi you heard Entertainment by URA? Really think you'd dig
    December 22 02:50 AM
  • Chortles http://auscultation.bandcamp.com/album/l-treinte-imaginaire. you heard this before? been so addicted lately. probably my favorite outsider house record that isn't by AL-90 -- very different vibe but has the same quality of hazy, dreamy hooks to keep me coming back
    December 18 06:23 PM
  • Let Hey man, thanks for the rec (wanderalle) , it's wonderful so far. Reminds me a bit of Yagya. Also Chortles' review of is fantastic, great prose. I'm drafting a review of Anima Mundi. Hope to get it right before the decade's over.
    December 16 11:15 PM
  • Slex dude what the **** Pang is sooooo good lol
    December 15 10:08 PM
  • Sinternet no.
    December 15 01:12 PM
  • Atari can't wait to hear your thoughts in march, lol. track is blowing me out of the water, if the rest of the album is nearly as good it will be a strong start to 2020. wish more people gave a damn about her
    December 6 10:34 PM
  • Slex dude the album is out of this world im glad you agree lol
    December 6 06:38 PM
  • Atari Nadia Reid is dropping a new album in March and dropped a new track. Ugh she?s so ****ing good and I?ve been waiting for this moment
    December 6 03:28 PM
  • DrGonzo1937 whenever mate. sooner rather than later, due to all the end of year lists and such, but at your leisure
    December 5 03:46 PM
  • DrGonzo1937 how ya doin. fancy doing a small blurb for twigs?
    December 5 12:16 PM
  • Yotimi Great stuff on first listen. Need to listen again to let those darker tracks sink in though
    November 26 03:55 PM
  • Atari Haha nice, well it definitely worked. I know I?ve been all about emo/punk lately but it really stood out to me. Yeah I can definitely see some similarities to Oso Oso as well
    November 24 12:34 AM
  • Atari Pleasantly surprised by that Origami Angel rating!
    November 23 06:05 PM
  • Atari ya, Main Attrakionz are superb. cheers for that rec! I don't love every single song but it does still work surprisingly well as a whole and the standouts are just too good
    November 21 02:51 PM
  • Chortles love that! haven't logged in in a hot minute either. ahh I keep forgetting about the wanderwelle!! Haven't listened yet. What do you think?
    November 21 01:09 AM
  • Atari lmao, was just messing with you since people tossing around the phrase female-fronted seems to be a trigger for you. ah, that's too bad. miss sharing recs :3
    November 20 07:12 PM
  • Atari hear any solid female fronted artists lately?
    November 20 05:06 PM
  • Atari you're seriously missing out on that Great Grandpa.. at least add it to your must-hear list for when your new music break comes to an end!
    October 29 02:14 PM
  • Chortles new teeeeebs! did not even know it was coming out. really like it so far
    October 28 05:11 PM
  • Atari Suit yourself ;)
    October 27 01:42 PM
  • Atari you might dig this Great Grandpa album. both Slex and WatchItExplode's soundoffs are pretty spot on!
    October 26 07:45 PM
  • Atari you should have told me about Caroline Polachek :P so good, I need more indie pop in my life
    October 26 12:40 AM
  • DoofDoof the Cigarettes for Sex album REALLY sounds like radio pop tunes put through their dreamy filter - apparently Shania Twain was an influence on the song writing...! Sad to report - I still love them and their repetitive sound. Everyone has musical blind spots
    October 25 10:05 AM
  • Atari I think it might be different on mobile lol. Can?t access Dropbox through my work comp (which is also my personal comp). Don?t worry about it honestly. My scrobble addiction has gone too far and it will be fine :3 if I get desperate I?ll manually add them later
    October 24 02:03 AM
  • Atari Looks like it wants me to upgrade to Dropbox plus for that, haha. I?ll live, maybe I?ll manually scrobble it later with the universal scrobbler. Thanks again for hooking me up :)
    October 24 01:40 AM
  • Atari wow it's actually working - cheers!! listening thru the dropbox app, but not sure if there's a way to scrobble these tracks that way or not? sorry I'm dumb :3
    October 23 03:08 PM
  • Atari accidentallyd your dropbox link for that Main Attrakionz lol. If it's not too much trouble can you email it to me at atari857@outlook.com? If it doesn't work I guess I'll just listen on youtube. first couple tracks were really good
    October 23 02:42 PM
  • theBoneyKing Oh man I just finished my first spin of Polachek and I kinda loved it.
    October 19 12:08 PM
  • Sowing yeah I'm far from done with the record, but it was *mildly* disappointing. still good enough to warrant a very positive rating, but I was hoping it would be catchier. like you said, I'll have to pay close attention to the atmosphere on future spins. there were still plenty of moments that left me in awe, esp. 'the door', so I have motivation to give the record multiple chances.
    October 19 12:54 AM
  • theBoneyKing I?m intrigued by the hype around the Polachek, is it in my wheelhouse?
    October 18 09:22 PM
  • Atari Nice I know nothing about Dropbox lol but I?ll look into this when I have time
    October 18 07:37 PM
  • Atari Mostly just cause I like it to count my scrobbles ;)
    October 18 05:59 AM
  • Atari I can just listen to II on you tube lol. Already heard the opener and some other tracks I definitely dug, just wish it was on streaming services
    October 18 05:56 AM
  • Atari Had a feeling you?d say that, haha. III is available in Apple Music/Spotify but II isn?t. I like what I?ve heard so far tho
    October 18 05:28 AM
  • Atari Ugh yes lol, was asking how u think 808 and Dark Grapes III compares to II :3
    October 18 04:57 AM
  • Atari so how do you think 808
    October 17 02:07 PM
  • Slex Was already on my radar, will check ASAP
    October 17 11:17 AM
  • Sowing Oh yes I know. Ever since you rec'd her in my Lisel review thread I've been following her progress. Very excited!
    October 12 10:32 PM
  • DoofDoof The LB is the perfection of their style for me - just a question of whether the style warrants a 5
    October 11 07:52 PM
  • DoofDoof 3.5 for that twee Richard Dawson album? not feeling that one at all lol
    October 11 05:34 PM
  • theBoneyKing Enjoyed Diiv quite a bit on first go, definitely strong songwriting for something in the shoegaze realm.
    October 5 01:16 PM
  • Sowing That's strange because for as much as I loved Lark, after hearing the whole album, it's probably only my 4th or 5th favorite. 'Chance' is another SOTY contender.
    October 4 07:40 PM
  • Sowing Still, to have two 5's in the same day is unheard of even for me.
    October 4 07:08 PM
  • Sowing I won't even deny it. I used to be somewhat stringent about handing them out but once that levee broke, the 5's just poured in year after year. I'd say any given year I give out five 5's. It's kind of ridiculous.
    October 4 07:07 PM
  • DoofDoof slagwagon - band have been around for eons, I will brave it, its the right thing to do to save the integrity of the chart
    October 4 02:48 PM
  • theBoneyKing Haven't jammed them before but did have half an eye on that. Damn this a busy week.
    October 3 02:13 PM
  • DoofDoof well hopefully I like it better than Damn which almost entirely killed my Kendrick semi boner (it was never a full boner) - anything more 'out there' than Atrocity would prob have ben way too much so I get the back to basics choice
    October 3 01:32 PM
  • DoofDoof also a high Danny Brown rating? - that should be a 'grab a popcorn and watch the different reactions' album on sput.
    October 3 01:23 PM
  • DoofDoof nice, always liked their sound but not the songs so much - sounds like it should be a winner for me too
    October 3 01:21 PM
  • Sowing still have not heard an angel olsen record but have heard nothing but great things
    September 30 01:40 PM
  • DoofDoof No one can bring themselves to downrate the Barker yet...it?s hanging in there ;D
    September 28 09:25 AM
  • Atari Lol goddammit
    September 27 03:44 PM
  • Atari just gonna leave this here.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CxmXgOgjbQ
    September 27 03:24 PM
  • Chortles took awhile, but I'm finally on board with the Barker LP! it seemed a little too formless at first but I just needed some time to settle into it. very pretty front to back. Hedonic Treadmill is stunning, probably my favorite track. I think the closer is fascinating too
    September 27 02:14 PM
  • Atari You should at least check the track ?Windows? and let me know if it surprises you :P if not I?ll shut up about her forever
    September 26 08:57 PM
  • Atari I'll take your silence as a "**** off Atari" lmao
    September 26 06:25 PM
  • Atari I mean she basically sounds like Florist, lol. I've only heard this new one and her last album tho so not sure if her sound has changed at all. just seemed like the warm, lo-fi indie folk you sometimes dig
    September 26 03:13 PM
  • Atari since you're not in a punk mood much, have you heard the new Frankie Cosmos? ignore the average, it's much better than the last one. just have to make it past the first track and it really starts to unfold nicely ;)
    September 26 02:59 PM
  • DoofDoof wave goodbye to that average - you never want anything to go up on the charts here lol
    September 26 01:11 PM
  • Zeneren Yeah love those washes of dubby goodness. Will be going back to it regularly.
    September 26 08:51 AM
  • klap Absolutely no idea, vibes seem way off lol. But I?m not gonna complain
    September 25 05:15 AM
  • klap i didn't realize slayyyter was playing the electronicon in LA either, guess i have to go and "support tech" now
    September 25 02:09 AM
  • klap yo your recs have been on fleek this year. bat 4 lashes and slayyyter
    September 25 02:08 AM
  • granitenotebook i havent no, ill look into it. ty
    September 24 11:28 PM
  • Relinquished def a superior release, but I haven't been in a minimal techno mindstate in a minute, got burned out a bit
    September 24 04:22 PM
  • Atari I've been in a punk mood for most of 2019, lol. Idk if I've grown kinda tired of indie folk/singer-songwriter music this year or if it's a quality issue but punk and black metal are dominating my year at this point :P
    September 24 02:48 PM
  • Atari haven't rec'd you anything in a while. check this new Mobina Galore! great punk/indie rock in a similar vein as Saves the Day at times. pretty solid stuff ;)
    September 24 12:40 AM
  • DoofDoof The whole album is exactly like the singles so leave it there - its fluffy with lots of Whang
    September 22 06:13 AM
  • Yotimi I liked last year's album, but for some reason this one wasn't even on my radar. So thanks
    September 21 04:05 PM
  • DoofDoof thoughts on The Juan MacLean - most people just say poor mans LCD Soundsystem but I have a soft spot for him/them
    September 20 05:42 PM
  • theBoneyKing Yeah, I love when albums have discernible sections/movements, it helps them "feel" classic to me if that makes any sense
    September 20 03:17 PM
  • theBoneyKing Yup, was waiting for something this year to really impress me and those two did. Both have a very clear vision of what they want to achieve and do it wonderfully, I get really swept up in their worlds in a way I haven't other albums this year - both new artists to me too (although I've of course heard Lana's hits before) so I'm doubly impressed.
    September 20 02:41 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Mmmmmm I'm on it
    September 17 10:35 PM
  • klap EYEBALL EMOJISSSS
    September 17 03:53 PM
  • alamo I. WAS. NOT. READY.
    September 17 12:26 PM
  • Sowing I'm all about pop and being slutty, so that sounds awesome
    September 17 11:27 AM
  • Sowing Opening and closing run are equally impressive to me just in different ways. Middle has a few meh moments.
    September 17 01:02 AM
  • Lucman There's a possibility! Gonna give it another spin later.
    September 13 09:25 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts utility is flooring btw dude thank u for bringing it to my attention
    September 13 02:19 AM
  • Slex Listening now thanks!
    September 9 06:54 PM
  • Slex Yes pls
    September 9 06:05 PM
  • Slex Oooo will listen ASAP
    September 9 05:44 PM
  • Sowing I've always found Alex G to be a 3.5 kinda artist, but you have caused me to raise my eyebrow out of moderate hype at that score
    September 9 03:52 PM
  • TwigTW Thanks Luci, I completely missed the Barker LP, listening now and it sounds great.
    September 8 02:17 PM
  • DoofDoof Prob going to be top electronic of the year for me - I know the last track is totally different but I really dig that one too
    September 8 11:58 AM
  • klap thanks for the heads up, will check when i'm back in the US
    September 6 06:31 PM
  • DoofDoof The BFL was sort of retro campy fun and a couple of the tunes in the middle made sure it at least got a 3 rating, I prefer it to her other work...but in the end is it that much better than something like the first Gunship album? A bit. Will give it another go. Listening to the Barker now and think I will like it - going out in a bit though sowill have to give it the full listen later in the weekend.
    September 6 05:26 PM
  • DoofDoof As cheesy as it sounds meaning my description not the music ;)
    September 3 04:10 PM
  • DoofDoof You are right. As cheesy as it sounds that album paints colours of the room you are in
    September 3 04:09 PM
  • DoofDoof I would rate the tracks similarly - except I would award Perish Song a 5. A couple of others are close to a 5 bump too
    September 3 04:03 PM
  • DoofDoof Think it helps that it is a perfect hot weather/holiday album
    September 3 04:00 PM
  • DoofDoof Abysma has crashed my top 100 of the decade - currently at number 95 so likely to hold a position by list season.
    September 3 03:59 PM
  • DoofDoof I have really been getting into the Geotic albums the last three weeks - prefer them to the Baths stuff
    September 3 03:32 PM
  • Sowing agree with you so much about the NFR closing track. one of the very best songs, and definitely the most impactful lyrically
    August 31 12:02 AM
  • Sowing yeah I haven't been able to tear myself away from NFR for even a second lol. any other week I'd be already prepping a review for noel wells but I'd rather just sit down and absorb NFR -- let it happen to me -- than put work or attention into anything else
    August 30 12:09 PM
  • Slex Let?s talk about how yeah okay, the lyrics and vocals are breathtaking but my GOD the melodies and songwriting for NFR! are just on a completely different plane than the vast majority of any pop I?ve heard this decadeWorking on a huge review for it lol
    August 30 03:46 AM
  • Sowing Also when you finish obessing over NFR (so, like, 2021?) - check the new Noel Wells. I'm gonna review it, such a cute album.
    August 30 02:54 AM
  • Sowing impressive LDR rating
    August 30 02:15 AM
  • theBoneyKing Cant wait for Doof to 2 it anyways. :-p Love the guy but he definitely has a blind spot when it comes to ?proper? pop artists.
    August 27 10:42 PM
  • Chambered79 NFR might be the one
    August 27 10:21 PM
  • theBoneyKing So am I gonna have to swallow my pride and listen to a Lana Del Rey album?
    August 27 09:01 PM
  • Sowing I'm so ready
    August 27 05:45 PM
  • Atari Review it!!
    August 22 02:49 PM
  • Atari You weren?t wrong about the Saves the Day vibes. Has that nostalgic sound but also fits right in with modern indie rock/emo. All I?ve listened to all damn day, haha
    August 21 10:04 PM
  • Atari Yeah, I?m on track 3 and already sold on this Oso Oso
    August 21 01:56 PM
  • Atari awesome, I'm on it - cheers! :)
    August 20 02:52 PM
  • Yotimi Damn, some of those songs would fit right on Stay What You Are
    August 19 01:51 PM
  • Sowing both have the potential to go up, esp. Shura...this is a huge week so all my ratings are after 1 listen - just trying to narrow down what deserves additional attention
    August 16 04:43 PM
  • Yotimi And that Special Request went down smooth too
    August 13 03:36 PM
  • Yotimi Yeah this rx 101 is definitely my style. Reminds me of bochum welt
    August 8 03:52 AM
  • DoofDoof anatelier found another interesting 2019 art pop release - Julio Nickels, Feeling Fickle. Its up there, too 20 of the year for me - some really intriguing instrumental atmospheres and textures, some electronic influences too
    August 6 01:27 PM
  • Sowing if you're having a slow week check the harmaleighs...not sure if it's really your style per se, but I'm having trouble keeping my rating for it below Clairo
    August 6 12:13 PM
  • Sowing I might throw one up then. I've had enough excitable 4 reviews lately, but I have ample time to kill.
    August 2 05:16 PM
  • Sowing u gonna review clairo?
    August 2 05:11 PM
  • Sowing I expected to hate Reputation but loved it. Lover is shaping up to be a happier 1989; ME! is kind of a grating single but I like You Need to Calm Down and Archer
    August 2 02:37 PM
  • Sowing Taylor will practically be an auto-4.5. I have a long standing love affair with her where she can do no wrong. Lana will be a wildcard; could be a top-10 album of 2019, or could be another 3.5. Still haven't gotten into Charli surprisingly. FKA Twigs I'll like if they push the experimental direction of that EP (which IMO is way better than the LP).
    August 2 02:25 PM
  • Sowing Sofia is my favorite, digging the more exploratory second half a bit more than you though.
    August 2 02:09 PM
  • Sowing I don't know if I'm just on some hopeless female-fronted pop binge lately, but that Clairo album also rules. There's way more hooks than that Lisel record, less art, but still some.
    August 2 01:57 PM
  • DoofDoof 3.5 for now but might well be a 4 or higher - Antony/Wild Beasts vocals and some of the music reminded me a bit of Matt Elliott at times. Definitely my sort of thing lol
    August 1 10:21 AM
  • DoofDoof Just checked on RYM and it was buried in my 3500 album strong wishlist...moved to the top of the pile ;)
    July 31 10:22 PM
  • Slex https://pitchfork.com/news/lana-del-rey-details-new-album-norman-****ing-rockwell/
    July 31 04:25 PM
  • Atari you just need to review it and explain to everyone why it's worth spending more time with ;) I know it sounds cliché, but it really is a grower. you can't listen to it in a sitting or two and understand all there is to offer. felt more like a 3.5 until I really gave it the time it deserved. and nice - glad you dig Lagwagon (or at least that song haha). def been on a punk binge lately, pretty good year for the genre compared to the last few
    July 30 10:07 PM
  • Atari Sorry to spam your shoutbox but holy s*** that Florist just keeps getting better and better
    July 28 03:52 PM
  • TwigTW Not sure how you feeel about Dominik Eulberg, but he has a new single out this week (on Spotify): "Goldene Acht." The new album is out in September. This is just a first taste, but it sounds promising.
    July 28 01:10 AM
  • Atari Shadow Bloom and the closer are two of my favorites so far
    July 27 04:57 PM
  • Sowing Check Lisel - Angels on the Slope. Seems like it'd be up your alley and I want to return the favor for all the great recs you've given me this year. You prob won't think it's a 5 like I do, but it's at least worth your time. Underground experimental/classical indie-pop.
    July 27 04:12 PM
  • Atari Bridgers lol
    July 27 03:51 PM
  • Atari It?s all yours!! Idk about you but I?m getting an Adrianne Lenker meets Phoebe Bridget?s vibe on this one vocally. Still need to let the lyrics sink in more
    July 27 03:49 PM
