 | Relinquished yea you're not gonna get good recs for wedding songs here since this place is infested with little boys. I think you have some good ideas already honestly, but like you realized this isn't the place to ask. I had a blast playing what my wife and I wanted, and you'd have more fun that way. | Sowing Personally, I think I got promoted after 60 some odd reviews. But they keys are to focus on new releases, deliver quality content, review frequently, and be a respectable user who doesn't get banned all the time and can hold an intelligent conversation about music. Hope all that helps!

| Sowing I commented on and pos'd your review. Whoever neg'd was an idiot, it's fine for a first review. As far as the contributor thing goes, the simple answer is that it varies. Blatantly awesome writers get promoted early, sometimes even straight to staff. But the typical path is 25-50 reviews with good community rapport for contributor, then staff if you are able to separate yourself from the other contributors and a consistent and quality writer.
