| Gillie It's good to see another hip-hop head on sput!
| unclereich black up will forever be goated tho, how are you buddy
| unclereich isnt that such a disappointing realization?
| unclereich hopefully youre well so Santa won't leave you coal
| GodLovesUgly Yea such a shame Gab is a Top 5 MC of all time for me, always remained consistent and never failed to blow me away.
| GodLovesUgly Nice bro! Yea Nia is great for sure, I like all of the Blackalicious albums but yea Blazing Arrow and Nia are definitely their best, inventive as hell!
| GodLovesUgly haha yea man, thanks for bringing it to my attention. It's one of those albums where I thought wow how have I slept on this, it's just great Hip Hop at it's purest. What you been listening to lately?
| GodLovesUgly Cheers bro, will hopefully check that one out soon!
| GodLovesUgly For sure man, yea so slept on and one that so many more would love if they only heard it.
| GodLovesUgly I finally checked out Clearing the field and loved it! Cheers for recommending it, great production and rhymes and is literally just so much fun.
| Typhoon24 Since you're a fan of southern rap, i did one for the resurrection - GB . Check it out (: It uploaded 2 reviews, one for the foundation incorrectly and then i uploaded the right one for the resurrections. hopefully the the foundation one, i asked rowan.
| GodLovesUgly Lol it's quite an overlooked yet essential album Imo. Also yea for sure a good number of my favourite albums are ones that grew on me over time.
| GodLovesUgly No problem, I'm really glad you dig it. It's one of those albums that really feels like so many people would get into but it's just so overlooked. Also cool to see you rating for Zion I's Mind Over Matter, absolutely love that album!
| GodLovesUgly Hey man not yet, but definitely soon. Sorry I can be useless with getting to stuff lol, I'll definitely let you know what I think when I hear it, also thanks for the reminder!
| GodLovesUgly lol oh man didn't see that coming, but yea here's hoping, we really never know how posthumous releases will turn out.
| Keyblade I've been trying to finish soul silver due almost a year now. I wanna play BW2 before 2022 tbh
| GodLovesUgly Lol yea, I've actually been trying to think of more list ideas but just 6 for now.
| Keyblade hell yea dude. they look good. like I see the gameplay vids and it's almost a 1:1 translation
| GodLovesUgly Yea man People Without Shoes is kinda hard to find but I see you've now heard it and am happy that you clearly dug it and I'll also look forward to what you think of the other recommendations. Also I'll let you know what I think of the MIC and Motion Man albums for sure. I've also got some lists that you might like for some more recs.
| GodLovesUgly Also for albums that aren't 90's Underground but are influenced by 90's Underground I'd recommend: Ugly Heroes - Ugly Heroes, Epidemic - Illin Spree, Epidemic - Monochrome Skies, 7L
| GodLovesUgly For sure brother!. Yea I definitely need to check out those 2 mixes. I had a look through your ratings and you've got incredible taste. As far as 90's Boom Bap you've rated a lot of what I consider to be the best but some that were noticeably missing are: The Goats - Tricks of the Shade, Lords of the Underground - Keepers of the Funk, People Without Shoes - Thoughts Of An Optimist, Bahamadia - Kollage and Skillz - From Where???
| GodLovesUgly Yea man Masters of illusion is incredible, been a while since I heard it and it's due for another spin. Also yes I'll listen to clearing the field for sure. Cheers for the recommendation and definitely let me know if there's anything else you'd recommend, I'm always looking for more albums to check out!.
| Typhoon24 Man I checked out of hip hop. Card expired, not looking for new s***. I went a damn year trying really hard to like new music above and underground and was disappointed as hell. I?m mostly listening to gojira for metal, d?angelo, 70s funk and a little shoegaze when I?m feeling moody lol.
| JeetJeet I fw TST but its my least fav zay project. Some real great songs on it but some of the other ones dont hit for me.
| Typhoon24 Sorry for the late reply. On and off homie on and off
| Funeralopolis No worries - another time then, just let me know if you want to hang, I don't work so I'm pretty flexible.
| Funeralopolis Sounds like a good time to meet then would be probably around 930am on Friday at the downtown waterfront. We can meet at the trail entrance where the boardwalk and trail meet. Does that work?
| Funeralopolis I do love Gorguts. Metal will always be my fave, although I like many other genres. Bet you don't find many in Pembroke who appreciate Obscura ;). I see your taste is pretty diverse you got a lot of ratings, you've maybe even heard more than me! And I've heard a lot of albums. When did you want to meet up? I was thinking maybe we meet at the downtown waterfront sometime later this week. It's a good place to chill. Need to find something covid friendly.
| Funeralopolis Shame it didn't work out - Bluesfest. Is prettyy cool. I went before a few years back with some friends to see protest the hero. One thing bicevabiut Ottawa is there is a club called Mavericks that holds alot of metal concerts.Ottawa has a surprising amount for its size.
| Funeralopolis Same, Pembroke has always been a place of calm for me. Unfortunately, I got stage 4 lung cancer, so I'm back and forth between Pembroke and Toronto a lot. I get treated at PMH in Toronto - one of the best cancer hospitals in the world at least. I'm bored af - but I recently got over a pretty nasty 2 month period and I'm just happy to be gaining my strength back :] . If you're up for it, we should meet somewhere in Pembroke in some time, it'd be cool to meet another Sputniker from the area.
| Funeralopolis Dang, small world. Yes, Brad Schauer is my cousin - however, I don't speak to him, I don't actually really know him. I feel like our families are kind of the opposite, he's super country and I'm a city slicker - lived down in Toronto for 5 years. Pembroke always has a special place in my heart though. How you enjoying Pembroke?
| Funeralopolis Hi I think you were looking for me ;). I'm Brandon Schauer from Pembroke. I'm seriously tripping right now, it is like our destiny to meet again. Get this, I find out that there is another sputnik user with a very close name to mine - the same day I go to message him about it I see you messaged him and thought he was me, literally one day ago. I think it is our destiny to meet lol. I'm actually staying up in Pembroke again, I was living in Toronto, here right now.
| CaliggyJack Up to Poseidon yes. I got challenged by a user here years ago to do a worst to best list series on buckethead. I spent about 2-3 months listening to every album he had at the time (2017 I think). Id the list like last year, and it was so tortuous that I literally can't bring myself to listen to another one of his albums.
| Koris Nah, I'm from California. Although I've been living in Japan these days :]
| Keyblade i've become a bit of a playlist dude in recent years lol. I'm a filthy casual now
| Keyblade man, the last album I heard was prob ITP and some Clipse idk. haven't listened to a full album in forever
| Pikazilla sup check unending degradation by krypts, impetuous ritual debut, and that one disma album
| Colton you can get there with time. I'm a big believer in self improvement
| Avagantamos hey thanks for the kind words! I see you have deltron 3030 and cannibal ox in your 5s. some of my absolute faves
| Drifter Awesome Comin Out Hard soundiff/rating
| Typhoon24 Haha I like it more than they?re experimental stuff. Deacon had crazy verses and production felt fittingSaw em live in a small venue near Oakland. Said hello to em after and they?re cool ass dudes. Bought a piece of strange poster
| Typhoon24 ill check em out since we have similar tastes I think for sure
| Judio! Surprised my idm % is so low actually
| Ryus nahh. never been a fan of that style of music and that album is pretty much insufferable to me
| Ryus you better sort out that mecca and the soul brother rating or there'll be hell to pay!
| unclereich well new shabazz is alright felt incomplete but makes sense since theres a second part coming out
| evilford Agreed about his beats. And have not checked blackalicious yet but will soon
| evilford I know lol...so much stuff to check

| Yotimi Yeah they are pretty holy
| adr together we rock mate m/m/m/\/
| Keyblade hell yea man u already know how SUC does it. it's really quirky tho i'll say that much...not a traditional hip hop album at all lol
| Tyler. sputnikmusic.com/user/tyler
| Tyler. I think you had me confused with someone else lol
| Friday13th Angel rat is good, but clearly no DH or Nothingface. I'd rank it just below Killing Tech and Outer Limits. I do like the more melodic approach, but Outer Limits does it better with a more metal sound.
| TheSpirit http://takemetal.org/inquisition-bloodshed-across-the-empyrean-altar-beyond-the-celestial-zenith-2016/
| Hawks Yeah dude I've been here for a long time lol.
| parksungjoon i know dude definitely deserves some more spins but i don't quite have the time atm
| parksungjoon not rated but i'm with voivod that their stuff after nothingface is pretty damn underrated
| Jethro42 Hi! I've seen your prog request in the Nagrarok shoutbox. Here are some prog with flutes; Finisterre, Maneige, Anglagard, Focus, Jethro Tull, Horslips, Pulsar, Bubu, Gotic, Traffic...These came to mind. If I think about something else, I'll tell you. Cheers.
| miketunneyiscool123 I will eventually. I've been putting thrash to the side for now to expand my musical palette.
| oltnabrick jumpman jumpman jumpman them boys up to something

| Funeralopolis Brandon Schauer. Although I look nothing then like I do now, I was a scene kid back then. *shudders* what's your name if you don't mind me asking?
| Funeralopolis Yea man I went to Fellowes, I graduated in 2010. Maybe you even know me :o haha.
| Funeralopolis Damn, that's pretty cool. Haha I saw your shoutout on my really old ass account that I don't use anymore today ( a little late to the party). I dunno if its the same Pemboke: Pembroke, Ontario. But I grew up there and have been living in Ottawa for the last few years but still go to visit my parents for holidays etc.
| LambsBread thanks for the rec man i heard mortal sin and it was really good, definitely gonna download or buy a CD of theirs. The Martyr 2.5? Whhhhhat

| kingsoby1 yeah that's a pretty prolific compilation. lotsa bangerzz
| oltnabrick my reviews r bad. and id rather review something that hasnt been reviewed lol
| DatBeefPudding and yeah most underground hip-hop usually is underrated. sucks because it's almost always a million times better than the s*** that receives airplay. oh well, what can you do :p
| DatBeefPudding have you heard of Marcus D? i just found the album melancholy hopeful, and it's fantastic.
| DatBeefPudding yes sir! starting as we speak. question, who is the MC with a slightly dryer and deeper tone?
| oltnabrick im going to report u 4 troll rating (you have 10 minutes)
| oltnabrick i 5d the new miley cyrus album and deviant wiped my 75 ratings

| oltnabrick No just do whatever u want. Freedom for all
| TheInmortalVermicide First, you have to accomplish al the requirments, you should belong to the decent people and hate swagfags, chavs, thugs and scum like that which belongs to the parasites. Besides you must have a stable job or being a good student. You can like indie rock ( the good one) and a lot of hip hop ( but if you like hip hop for swagfags lil b, gucci mane, soulja boy, waka flocka flame, 2 chainz, nicki minaj and s*** like that just get the **** out, i hope you don't like that s***)
| unclereich haha yep you should have seen it before they revamped the site. hip-hop heads are few and far between on sput gotta stick together yo
| KILL well you got a good start with rush n floyd, check camel - mirage, yes - close to the edge, king crimson - in the court of the crimson king, genesis - selling england by the pound. all essentials of prog rock
| Hawks Eh I might, I'm not really into that kind of hip-hop anymore haha.
| demigod! cant say i have they worth checkin
| demigod! heh not for me, i just love El-p so much. i mean i like AiC a lot but it was pretty obvious for me which one i wanted to see.
