Nokko is a Japanese female artist, that first surfaced to fame in the mid 80's as the frontwoman of the legendary pop rockgroup, Rebecca. Following their initial disbandment in 1991, Nokko went on to embark on a successful solo career, until Rebecca reunited in 2000. Even though Rebecca reunited, neither Nokko or the band have released any material in over a decade. However, in 2010, Nokko finally released a cover album, entitled "Kiss", which reached number 1 on the Japanese iTunes charts. She also released her eighth full length solo album in November of 2012, which was titled "The Nokko Story". It was her first original album since 2000's "Viaje".
