You're silly. This is a 4/5. Seriously, "The Lengths" a 3.5?! The song is definately a 5/5.

Umm Rubber Factory is actually their third Full length. The Big Come Up was their first. Not to mess up your review or anything but I just reckon its best if the reviews here are accurate... Aside from that a little sparse after the first two tracks but overall pretty good work... The Black Keys rock, in my opinion they're as good if not better than the White Stripes and much more consistant...

Oops, the lengths, i put it in stand out tracks and all, my bad.

Hmm...this album would get a 4 out of 5 from me. Classic material, don't know why there aren't more bands like this out now. Good review.

What a joke of a review.

I like the album, but my favorite and least favorites seems to be the opposite of yours. I find The Desperate Man boring. I love the volume shift at the end of Girls is On My Mind, my favorite song on the album. You didn't review Stack Shot Billy, which has an amazing intro. I think the Lengths gets a little boring, but I really dig Aeroplane blues and Keep Me. Theyre just so raw and nasty. Overall, I think its a good album, but not up to par with their others.

I agree with branyangossard, truth be told, this album kicks ***. I liked it the first time i heard it. Such a raw blues feel to it, almost like these guys are in the wrong time, we need more bands like this. You shouldn't compare these guys to The White Stripes either, don't get me wrong I do love Jack White's songwriting/guitar playing ability, sometimes a little off but they're a great band, but The Black Keys ****ing rocking. There's no way around it, these guys love playing together and love the music they play, I'm going to buy their cds just to support them now.

One more comment, this review did no justice for this cd, if you read the review you don't get the feel for the cd. I feel like you put no time into it and didn't listen to the cd enough.

Yeh, someone should delete it, i don't check these old reviews coz i can't stand the Black Keys anymore.

I now disrespect your taste for music, your profile helped me out too.

Lol WTF! The black keys are an alrite band but there are other bands I like alot more, which is a personal opinion as everyone is different. If you disrespect my taste of music just coz I said I couldn't stand the black keys then that's pretty funny but also sad, and in the end I wouldn't care much if someone so close-minded disrespected anyone's taste in music.

10AM Automatic sounds like a song I have heard before. Also The Lengths sounds like a Dylan song.

great band and probably my favorite album by them. sorry, but weak review. Keep Me is my favorite on the album, but mostly for the sick guitar breaks. and your missing Stack Shot Billy.
