Review Summary: Well there you have it thats the entire album. Overall this is an amazing album. Best I have ever bought! High Points: The Thing on the Bass Amp, Giant Robot Birdhead, chemical bomb and a lot more. Low Points: Hello Good Night, Lotto Fever every

The Aquabats VS. the Floating Eye of Death is one of the greatest albums i have ever bought. The Aquabats are my favorite band of all time and this is my favorite album by them. So it's safe to say this is my favorite album of all time. In this album The Aquabats shy a little bit away from the ska scene and get a little bit more "creative" in this album. The horns are still their never the less, but they take a back seat to the vocals, the keyboard and the guitars.

TRACK LISTING:

1. Sequence Erase

This is one hell of away to open an album it starts off with some techno like drums and has an extremely strong build up until everything crashes together to make a really fast and pure rock song. The Vocals in the beggining don't sound like the MC BAT COMANDER we all love and know, but do not fear he still is the same old guy, but I think he has gotten better at singing. The outro is very suddon and the bat comander screams for the 1st and pretty much last time to end the song. Great great song to kick off the album.
5/5

2. Giant Robot Birdhead

This was the only hit off this album, but even until today its one of the biggest hits they ever done. If you have have the honor of seeing them live this is the song they usually open with. The song starts out with a wierd noise made by a synth and everybody comes in together strong. This might just be the catchiest song on the album because the vocals are really that good. Also these are some of my favorite lyrics of all time to the vocals are really the star in this song. It dosen't have an outro so to say they just repeat the chorus twice at the end to end the song.
5/5

3. Anti Matter.

This is another really cool song and it actully has some useful meaning that you can relate to in the real world which is usually no the aquabats style. The song starts out with everyboy coming at once no bulid up here, but it dosen't need it. The songs about bratty high school kids who are rich and spoiled, but they don't appreciate it and all they want is more and more. So this song really speaks to me. The song remains strong thorugh out the whole song and really dosen't have any major turning points. Great Great song.
5/5

4. Lotto Fever

Not one of my favorites on the album its still really good, but it isn't floating eye of death good. The song is about a man who finds a magical fish in a bottle of noodles who grants wishes. Wierd? yeah, but thats the aquabats for you. It starts off with drums and bass. Then the singer comes in and pretty much lays the song out for you. I like the main riff its really cool, but I'm not a huge fan of the way the song is sung overall. It's good, but it isn't Aquabats good as I said.
4/5

5. Lovers of Loving Love

Again this isn't one of my very favorite songs on the album, but it defently is a fan favorite and its very catchy. Even for the aquabats this song is just alittle bit corney, but I still really like it. The song starts off with a bang and then the vocal just kind of jump in. The backing vocals are really really good on this song adding some falvor to the song and I really like the layout of the song. It's good most people really like this song.
4.5/5

6. Chemical Bomb

OH man I love this song this was my favorite song on the album for a long time actully. Have you ever listened to the song The Wild Sea (Myths and Legends track 13)? Well a lot of the song is very very very similar to that song. This is the softest song on the album and it actully talks about a real life situation again. Its about how war is killing the world and how every is going to blow to hell. The song is wierd though because its a very happy sounding tune, but the lyrics are very dark and somewhat depressing. The song ends with some happy la's and more la's and more la's.
5/5

7. The Man With Glooey Hands

Unlike Chemical bomb the man with glooey hands is the fastest song on the album and it gets you out of your seat wanting to swing your fists in fury. The chorus is also really really catchy. The song opens up with wierd indian sounds and everyone jumps into the song at once and the vocals don't stop once. The chours has some wierd vocals, but the way they are sung is brilliant. This was actully my favorite song on the album for a long time to.
5/5

8. Monster Wedding.

Now this song, this is a wierd wierd song. Its about what you think its about. It's about some guy that gets sucked into a vortex of monsters and is forced to marry some monster against his will. This is as far away from ska as you can go, just showing off the aquabats ability to do many different types of songs. This usually isn't a fan favorite song and I can see why. Pretty much only "advanced" Aquabats fans can appreciate this song. I really like the lyrics in this song and I really like the way the song is sung.
5/5

9. The Ballad of Mr. Bonkers

Another wierd song. Its about some guy named mr. bonkers and they just go through his everyday life. The song is actully a ballad which is really bazzare. The song starts off with some bass drum and then a piano comes in with a little bit of trumpet. This would actully be my least favorite song on the album except.......it has the most incredible outro I have ever heard in my life. The outro brings the song out of the gutter and makes it amazing and incredible. With fast roaring guitar and awesome singing the outro really makes this song.
5/5

10. Canis Lupis

This is another song that most people like and its another fan favorite. It starts off with some wierd keyboard special effects and 1 of the aquabats ( I have a feeling its Jimmy) palying with a dog. I didnt really like this song to much when I 1st bought the album, but it really grew on me. I really like the lurics in this song for example "dogs need food and water or they can not grow" thats really cool in my opinion its a fast paced song generly and its pretty much streight up rock.
4.5/5

11. Tiny Pants

Ok this is the wierdest song on the album for sure. Infact either this song or Lobster Bucket off of the Fury of the Aquabats are the 2 strangest songs I have ever seen in my life. There are 2 things wierd about this song. The drum rythem is crazy wierd. Its pretty much just snare drum and thats the only drum really being stressed and the vocals during the chours are really really wierd. Ok get this the chours is just a really high squeeky voice singing in japanese so i have no idea what the lyrics mean. I do however like the song. I like the bridge most of all though. Its a fast paced bridge which has some cool bass in it. Even though this song is wierd I'm not going to hate on it.

12. The Thing on the Bass Amp

Ok here we are we reached my favorite song on the album and of all time! I love this song this is the greatest thing my ears have ever listened to. If you like horns then your in luck this is the only song on the album that is dominated by trumpet and saxophone. I love every last thing about this song. It starts off with just some bass drums and wierd slow guitar in the beggining and bulids up and thats where the horns take over. Very Very catchy especially the chorus. The song is sung beautifuly and this song also has the best bass line on the album. Its also 1 of the longer songs on the album so more time to enjoy it. The Bridge is cool too. Just a distored bass and some soft drums while 2 kids are talking trying to find the monster. The outro is also amazing it really can get your heart pumping. Trust me it kicks way to much ass. If I could give it a 6/5 I would, meh who cares i'll do it anyways.
6/5

13. Amino Man

WAIT WE AREN"T DONE YET!!!! They save 1 of the best for the end of them album. This song is about a huge muscle powered man that has gone over board and has gotten to big so his brain poped. Its similar to anti matter music wise, but I think its a little better then anti matter. Its a short song barley hitting 2 minutes, but it rocks out loud.
5/5

14. Hello Good Night

This is by far my least favorite song on the album. Pretty much right after Amino Man I just turn my sterio off and I don't even bother listening to this song. I don't like it because its kind of depressing and I hate it when albums stop on a negative note especially for the aquabats who always cheer me up when I'm feeling Mighty Low. The song is very very soft and it drags a lot of ass. So pretty much its just a dull boring song. I have no idea how it made it on the album, but don't even bother listening to this song.

This is my favorite album of all time and has been for quite some time.

Your track-by-track descriptions were very good for a first review, the only suggestion I have is that you add on a conclusion so the review doesn't end so funny.
